Rudest staff I ever met in Amsterdam. One of the gentlemen working there for 3 consecutive times misbehaved to me. No words for his rude behaviour to me.

THE RUDEST STAFF EVER!

The most shocking experience I've ever had. I was sharing a waffle with a friend and they gave us only one knife, I took another knife off the counter and the pancake maker was very upset that I didn't ask for it even though it...was for everyone to just take right off the counter! I still apologised for that anyway. Instead if accepting the apology he started ranting rude and nasty things and yelling at me. The worst of it all is that he literally said "I know places where they would chop your hands off for that" which was an indirect threat, a serious threat that I could have escolated to the authorities but the guy is obviously not mentally sound. The incident caused a scene in the store and other customers were disgusted by his behaviour and attitude. I had customers walk up to me outside the shop to say that his behaviour was unacceptable. The fact that there are an enormous amounts of bad reviews from people who experienced the rudness of the staff makes me wonder how ths place is still open. Shameful and doesn't reflect the behaviour of true Amsterdamers.More

Tasty vegan pancakes!

I visited the cafe about 4pm and it was really quiet with lots of tables free. The lady who made my pancake was lovely! There is something on the menu for everyone - vegan, non vegan, gluten free, sweet or savoury. I went for a...vegan pancake with apple filling and lemon and sugar topping. It was so delicious (you would never know it’s vegan!) and huge! Looking forward to returning and trying some more flavours!More

Interesting concept, HORRIBLE service

Interesting concept, HORRIBLE service. Experience started with three employees that seemed to be disappointed to see customers go into the store at 4:30 pm. We ordered a espresso, an iced coffee and a bottled drink. Oh, and when I needed to recharge my phone I...was told that doing so would lead to a black out at the store. Okay…More

Unique panncakes!

Very good panncakes with nice fillings! Nice staff, few places to sit but practical boxes to have the panncakes in. The whole family was happy!

Don't understand why so highly rated.

It is not cheap; depends on your selection but I gave €8.95 for a banana one. The pancake is not bad, but not great either. I don't understand the fuss about here. Definitely won't revisit.

Amazing pancakes

Best pancakes we had in Amsterdam. Quick and easy to order. We went around 2pm so there were no queues, but I’d imagine it’s really busy during breakfast time.
