Nice small café in a quiet neighbourhood. They also have tables close to the canal. We enjoyed the friendly and prompt service. It seemed like a lot of locals go there. We tried the chicken burrito and a spinach, goat cheese quiche. It was very...More

We sat outside at a picnic table with a shade cover. We selected a spring beer from a micro brewery which went down easily. In between sips, we munched on bitterballen (deep fried breaded balls with a ragout filling of meat). Totally good bar food!

Three friends and I had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is on a lively street yet is quiet. The music selection and general ambience are excellent and we all agreed the food was delicious!

Even though there are other places popular by their apple pie I believe this is THE ONE. Homemade and locally baked your pie is tall full of delicious apples and the right amount of cinnamon Not busy and family run

Stumbled across this fabulous little pub and eatery when we were here 18 months ago, and managed to find it again. Great service and the most delicious croquettes.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

Blaffende vis is `one of nicest and busiest matter of Amsterdam, where eating `can price/quality proportion be terribly nice. For a cafe an excellent assessment of spontaneousness and hospitality! A café in the Jordaan that timeless and comfortable. A happening.
