We have been to d'Overkant several times as it is just around the corner. Typical Dutch salads, sandwiches and entrees. The Sliptong is my go to favorite as well as the goat cheese salad. A good place to come after work for drinks and borrels....More

Being a spontaneous kind of guy, I decided to give this place a try. It was King's Day and I happened to be passing by, and feeling the results of being out till the early hours of the night before, hadn't eaten too much during...More

We went to this restaurant on our first night in the city. The ambiance looked nice, so we picked it. We were hoping to eat a quick dinner, which turned out to last 2 hours because of the slow service. It turns out that slow...More

We ate outside for dinner and it was pleasant under the heaters, even though it was a cold evening. There was a convention at the WTC nearby, so lots of people were out in the neighborhood that evening. Food was good but not spectacular. The...More

We are inside and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Service was a little hesitant as the staff seemed a bit shy of us at first. However they were very pleasant and helpful once they had got into the swing of dealing with us in...More

At one day's notice, the restaurant was able to accommodate a group of 50 of us for a three-course dinner for 32.50 euros with selection of three starters, three mains, three desserts. Service was good - always positive despite the demands of such a large...More

This place has the largest amount of seats inside and on their terrace in our neighborhood, so on nice days and weekends it is usually the only place to still have a chance at a table to eat. The annoying thing is that they consistently...More

Just across the street from RAI is the D'Overkant Café. Service is great and they have a lot of lunch options as well as specials. The outdoor seating is especially nice for people watching.

The service and food was excellent. I would recommend the salmon wrap. You can relax and just watch the world go by . You should check it out.

We made reservations, since that's what one does, and arrived to learn that our dining time was much earlier than Amsterdam standards so we needn't have worried. The service and the food were very good. The eclectic menu variety was refreshing. Well worth the walk...More

Description
d'Overkant is situated within a stone's throw from the RAI congress center. Our venue is suitable for a broad public, from locals to travellers and businessmen. We have a big terrace where you can enjoy the sun the whole day. Terrace heating, canopies and plaids make it a comfortable spot to enjoy until the late hours and even on colder days or in winter time. Our team works with only the best products and serves fresh lobster and oysters directly from our own aquarium. Restaurant d'Overkant has an international cuisine. Next to our restaurant you can find our café with a typical Dutch Old Brown character. High tables with red velours furnished couches create a cosy ambiance to enjoy a nice drink. Suitable for a great night of watching live sports, as well as for an informal drink after work with colleagues or business partners. The unique connection with the restaurant makes it possible to enjoy a wide variety of delicious snacks from our kitchen.
