Was so looking forward to this restaurant on our last night in Amsterdam and really wish I could say that we loved it but can't! First of all the staff were just a bit full of themselves and although quite glamorous it takes more than that to impress the customer. Nothing was properly explained to us and one of us... More

Nice place, good choice of wine and very tasty food in the heart of the city. I have also appreciated the service. All in all, an excellent choice!

I visited this lovely restaurant with my friends this past weekend and we had a very pleasant experience. The food was amazing but the service at times was clumsy and careless especially with the cleanest of the plates and our drink order. Our waitress did not know the types of gin available in the menu and got a bit irritated... More

This is an amazing place! Each dish is just so incredibly delicious, it's hardly possible to describe. Every tiny component of taste is so amazing, you can sense a lot of different tastes in one dish and they are all combined in a perfect proportion making the food experience unforgettable there. You may think some combinations of ingredients are crazy,... More

My husband and I had lunch while we were here for the weekend and we both loved it. It was centrally located to all of the other spots we were visiting that day so we decided to try it. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed the wine. I would suggest stopping in for lunch if you are looking... More

Persuaded by rave reviews on here and a very interesting menu. We thought it would ld be great. How wrong we were the lunchtime menu is cild meats and a couple of ordinary cold dishes inter Alia. If you want anything of substance or warm on a cold winters day go elsewhere. Oh and service was stupidly slow. Listening to... More

An amazing meal. This was recommended by our hotel and were very impressed with the quality of food. Not a cheap night out but also not over priced for the great fresh food. Very innovative. Definitely worth a visit.

An amazing evening! Not the cheapest but the finest dining experience I have ever had! Even the bread starter was fantastic. The red mullet and veal delicacies were the best flavours I'd ever tasted. They're small portions but freshly prepared and worth every penny! I can't recommend enough both for the taste and experience

We had a dinner for 2 at envy. The place looks great and the flavours are amazing. But dishes are seriously small, they recommended us to have 3-4 dishes each but even tough it was too little food. I guess it might be better to go for the tasting menu.

Description
Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam is an exciting offshoot of Jamie Oliver’s famous Fifteen London, a great example of one set of dynamic, generous people inspiring others to act. In this case, the ‘others’ are Sarriel Taus and Coen Alewijnse who have created this combination restaurant and chef’s school in partnership with Fifteen London to benefit the struggling young people of Amsterdam. So what’s it like at the dining end of the equation? Very cool. The arty cosmopolitan style includes vibrant graffiti-scrawled sheet metal walls contrasting nice with the smart, sleek modern lines, designer seating and white table cloths. The restaurant seats up to 200, yet can still feel right for an dinner a deux. Each night a tasting menu is on offer, inspired by Jamie Oliver incorporating only the freshest regional produce. The modern Italian menu changes weekly and includes one of Jamie’s favourite antipasti to start, a first dish of fresh pasta, gnocchi or risotto, second course of meat, fish, poultry or game, and, we’re quoting here, ‘a wicked dessert’. A wine tasting menu is available to match the food tasting menu, or choose your own from the excellent list.
