Visited Ctaste to experience "Dining in the Dark," last night and can honestly say that the food was disappointing. Now, don't get me wrong, the experience of dining in the dark and the friendly and warm service are good reasons to visit the restaurant but, FOOD ALWAYS COMES FIRST! The meal was less than average, lacked flavor and originality and... More

Ever imagined what it feels like to be visually impared? As an experiment, we took our kids (8 and 9) out for dinner at C-Taste to discover the world without vision. They where a little bit nervous but thanks to the very helpful staff we really enjoyed this exciting experiment. Dinner in pitch-black really opens up other senses. Combined with... More

This is place is in complete darkness, I thought that after 20 minutes or so my eyes would adjust to the darkness but no it is completely dark. We felt a little bit forgotten about when we arrived at the restaurant as most guests have to wait a little in the lounge area before the waiter/table is ready. It would... More

We booked a diner with friends and had good fun. The lounge is a bit small and the service is chaotic but the here starts the fun waiting for your turn to go through the curtain. Once passed the curtain you are completely blind and you have to rely on the waiter to find your place. Then you try to... More

We went for the Sunday brunch (which is 4 courses) this consisted of 1. Croissant with strawberry jam and butter (not warmed or fresh) 2. Cheddar and chutney triangle sandwich on brown bread, roast beef sandwich and salad sandwich 3. Microwaved quiche 4. Pear and apple tart with lemon ice cream. It could have been so much better and the... More

This is definitely something worth trying, as many other reviewers on here say. The servers are a highlight - fun and very talented. Meal itself was pretty good. Though not the best food I'd ever eaten, I will say the menu had some creative dishes that were clearly there to play with your head a bit (ie kangaroo tartare was... More

Interesting experience which I think is worth everyone trying, the staff were great especially the waiters! Only downside was the food, it wasnt paticually tasty and certainly not enough of it, for the price you pay its a shame really, good experience tho!

What a fun experience! We laughed alot and had great fun trying to figure out what we were eating and how not to make a mess of ourselves! The servers were funny and sweet and so gentle and accommodating. We loved it.

The concept is unique and gives you an idea of how blind people experience a restaurant vist. But there my positive comment ends. The quality of the food that is presented is just average and not what you could expect from the price setting. Taking into account that there is no menu to chose from and they don't have to...
