We tried several of the top-rated stroopwafel spots in Amsterdam and this one is by far the best. Reasonable price - the next famous shop is almost 3x the cost for no reason. Made fresh on the spot, the waffles are crispy and the caramel...gooey and just the right amount of sweetness. They keep it simple, no fancy crazy sprinkles and fruit - just original and chocolate. The line moves quickly and the gentlemen working are very nice. This is the #1 stroopwafel!More

I brought home 10 packs of stroopwafel. They provided pack in beautiful tin, so you fan give it as souvenirs back home. It tastes very good, not too sweet. Love it very much and wish to buy more on our next visit.

The guys are so nice. The stroopwafel is so good and they make it on the spot. We wish they were closer so we could go again on our trip. They are part of the markt on the street.

We thought we would try the “original” stroopwafel. When we turned up, there was a big queue. It was moving, but a little slow as the waffles are made in front of you. We got a couple with the chocolate on. It was alright, not...much to shout home about. It was very sweet, very sticky and if you are unlucky, a not ao well made one and was quite messy. Ive seen some photos from a year ago on other review sites. It would seem that the price of plain and chocolate stroopwafel from here had gone up by €1 since then, or in percentage terms, well over 33%. So feels quite steep for what it was. Ive had my experience of this. I will probably be in the minority, but I wouldnt choose this again for the price paid. Plenty of other things to try on Albert CuypMore

At Rudi's Original Stroopwafels stall in the Albert Cuyp street market, you will find cheerful servers who engage with their customers. The stroopwafels are made to order, fresh and warm and tasty! These were, hands down, my favourites of all the stroopwafels we tried in...Amsterdam. I liked them so much, l bought some of their pre packaged ones to take back home as well....and even these were still fresh and tasty weeks later. I highly recommend a visit to Rudi's to anyone in Amsterdam who's looking for this Dutch treat. You wont be disappointedMore

Hands down the best Stroopwaffel in AMS. SO fresh, piping hot and friendly staff. We went to the one in Albert Kulp market — line was long but moved quickly.

Great fresh made stroopwafel! The two guys in the stall were both lovely and joking around with all the guests which was a nice welcoming touch. We had one original and one chocolate stroop. I personally found the chocolate one too sweet but my partner...really enjoyed it.More

Rudi's Original Stroopwafels & Albert Cuyp Markt are definitely worth the effort. What a wonderfully engaging staff, and definitely the most delectable Stroopwafels in Amsterdam. They are made fresh and hot! If the markt had been closer to our hotel, we would have visited every...day. Absolutely delicious!More

These stroopwaffels were the best in Amsterdam! Very authentic and tasty, made the proper Dutch way. The staff were lovely and very friendly and talkative, explaining to us about the process. Another bonus is that they’re more than half the price than the stroopwaffels in...Centraal, as well as considerably nicer. There was a small queue when we arrived (however, I am not surprised as they are very popular), but they are we worth the wait!More

I love GREAT customer service because it adds so much to the experience. It had to been the owner, he was kind, friendly, and sociable. He asked us where we were from and really connects with the customer. As an added benefit, the waffle 🧇...was AMAZING! Kudos to a business that makes customer service great again regardless of the patron’s nationality or color. Thank you for making my son and I’s experience one to remember in Amsterdam!More

Very nice staff. Shorter line and it moved quickly - likely because it was October and rainy that day. Delicious warm, fresh stroopwafel. Soooo good. Worth a visit if you’re near Cuyp market.
