While passing through, we stopped in Veere to stretch our legs and to have a drink. This restaurant was a good place for a stop and we enjoyed an afternoon drink. 'Waepen van Veere seems like a nice restaurant and also has some hotel rooms.

We had a great apple pie and hot cocoa here. The apple pie won a local award as the best in the town and I can see why...apples were sweet and firm and the crust tasty. The staff is very friendly and efficient as well. A very good place to experience the local flavors.

Large outside terrace, relatively small lunch menu, but good quality. Quite expensive though. Inside very spacious, and warm. Comfortable seating, good location in the centre of Veere What could be improved: the awkward and heavy sliding door to the men's restroom

Have stayed here twice in the last 14 months and both times it was really nice. The hotel is in the centre of town with a fantastic large terrace. The food and service are outstanding! The room I had in 2015 was a small single room and this year I had the large room in the front of the building,... More

We had dinner at 't Waepen van Veere and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a 5 course set menu and the good was just great, with correctly sized portions of very tasty food. Some of us also went for the accompanying wine assortment and that matched very well with the food that was served. A great meal in a cosy... More

We ate here on a Monday evening, and wouldn't have needed to reserve. It's a proper restaurant, with freshly cooked food and good ingredients. A nice place to sit for an evening, too. We started with two soups, lobster bisque (€11.95, could have had a more pronounced taste) and soup of the day, a cream of mussel soup (at €7... More

Skip this place for dinner if you can find room elsewhere. The food was mediocre (supposedly fresh rack of lamb), had been deep frozen and was definitely not local. My husband's spaghetti dish with gambas was OK but totally overpriced. OK, if sitting outside is important to you, by all means do. If you want some quality food at a... More

This was by far the most expensive spaghetti i ever had, Veere is a touristic town but ... I dont mind paying 15,50 euro but at least give a normal, descend portion, these were really kid portions. Luckily the taste and service was ok. Would i go back, for shure not, this is a rip off.
