The widest assortment of wine of any restaurant ever. Tagliatelle that comes with the 4 course was delicious. Venison as the main was possibly the best venison I’ve had. One of the best restaurants for business dining in Rotterdam.

We were visiting the vineum last week for a longer business lunch and the food was excellent. Everything was arranged like being in a Michelin star restaurant with several starters, a wine list of decent magnitude and explanations of the foods ingrediences, all fresh and...extra ordinary. Highly recommendable and my next trip to Rotterdam will take me to the Vineum again. By the way, good value for moneyMore

The possibility of ordering half a portion is unusual, but extremely convenient. The service was notably nice, and the food superb, which created a most enjoyable dining experience. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent food, great service and a most pleasant environment. We celebrated our son's graduation today and could not have picked a better spot of a high quality lunch in pleasant surroundings, served by very friendly, attentive and pleasant staff. And as a plus we were...introduced to a beautiful red from the area my family hails from that was previously unknown to me. Compliments all round!More

What a wonderful place this is: This is fine dining, accompanied with the best matching wines you can imagine. We go here quite regularly and always ask Niels to select the best matching wine for each course. He knows exactly what wine to choose to...make each visit a wonderful experience. His stories about the wineries, the hills on which the grapes grow, the amount of hours of sun they get: Niels takes you on a trip that makes every visit into a beautiful journey!More

Our dinner at VINEUM was fabulous. Both my husband and I ordered the four-course menu, and were delighted with each and every one of Chef’s creations. The wine list, both by the glass and bottle, is extensive, and they helped us choose the perfect wines...to go with each dish. The entire service team is very friendly, and it was a true pleasure to dine here.More

Excellent wine & food, or food & wine, however you would like to see it. Order the menu including wine and enjoy! Finishing with five selected cheeses and five selected wines might have been too much if it hadn’t been so amazing. Excellent hospitality, we...will be backMore

Very good food and wine pairing. The staff was very fast and friendly in service. The portions of our 4 course dinner could have been some bigger though. Overall, a great experience.

Pleasant no fuss atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff (especially impressed with their accompanying wine selection detailed analysis :) I had the 5 course set menu which I found excellent across the board with an interesting and original choice of flavours and ingredients that went really...well in sequence along with the matching glasses of wine for each course. Good value for money too. Will visit again when given the chance. Well done!More

We came into the Vineum on a very cold and grey afternoon and came out two hours later smiling! Unmissable for excellent food and fantastic wine list(book). It's very good value for money. The chef should have two Michelin stars! Our only grumble is the...steep stairs, as the dining room is on the first floor, but we are prepared to climb for such an amazing experience!More

Nice restaurant on the 1st floor of a authentic mansion; close to the city centre and the Witte de Withstreet (many nice bars!!!). We had a 3-course dinner (seafood/meat), 2 bottles of wine (Albarino/Valpolicella), coffees and after dinner drinks. Food was well prepared, well seasoned...and service was great. Service was good and the sommelier is a great guy. We paid 260 euro for the for of us and is was well worth the money.More

Not a first time in this restaurant... food is excellent and wine cart is phenomenal! Environment is great. Only thing is that with the exception of the sommelier, the rest of the staff is not the kindest or sympathetic as it should be for a...place such as this where you expect excellency in all ways. It is a pitty. After 3x having the same sort of treatment coming from the same staff it is clear that is not about the staff having a bad day, but just the way they are: directive, doing their job sufficiently not adding more than that, therefore missing pleasant and welcoming atitude. If you seek for quality with super kind staff, where the client treatment is a major plus for you, then this might not be the best choice.More

I visited Vineum on a Thursday night with my son. The room was nicely decorated with enough space between tables and wine bottles on the windowsill. The restaurant was situated on the 2nd floor and there was not an elevator or escalator. We chose the...4 course dinner with a white bottle of Austrian grauburgunder and a red bottle of German riesling The first course was a tartar of dorade. The second course was a bit off target in our opinion. The aspergus are not in season at the time of writing (begin april) and they were a bit hard. The third (main) course was a lamb fillet with a mousse and potato/cheese bites on the side. The meat was okay but nothing too special. The bites with old Rotterdam cheese were very nice and brought something extra to the course. For dessert we had a cheese platter which was good and a panna cotta which wasn’t particularly exciting. All in all the (broad choice of) wine is what makes this restaurant. The food is okay but doesn’t justify the price that is asked.More

Location just of central station in Rotterdam, these guys are nailing it (killing it as my US buddies would write) in multiple ways; 1) great food (veal, truffle pappardelle) 2) great wine (biggest list of Europe, and 30-40 terrific ones on coravin) at affordable rates...3) Niels and his crew are just splendid 4) great atmosphere, cozy but still private and the place was packed. Willl come back here time after time. Thank you!!More
