Imagine a huge hall in a port, where they serve fish that comes straight from the fishing boat. Well, that's Simonis. It's simply the best place on earth for fish. Period.

Looking for a unique Scheveningen fish dining experience? Simonis is the place to go to. A restaurant that is a fusion of fast food service, more than you can eat fish dishes and some really good specialties hidden in a bit of cosy chaos. Very popular place to go to for beach visitors and locals. No need to dress up.... More

In a more industrial part of the Port / Harbour, this fish and chipper offers fresh seafood at a better price than restaurants without compromising freshness and quality. We had a delicious mussel pot, a 1/2 bottle of wine and some fried prawns (more than enough food for two hungry adults) for 33 euro. A family friendly, casual restaurant that... More

A great place to go with friends or family. It is a very informal place where you can get truly fresh fish or seafood in general. They also serve decent wine. And the prices are ok! The biggest disadvantage of the place is that it usually overcrowded. For some people the overcrowd would be a sign of good quality. However,... More

This is just a bit of a fancy snackbar... not really clean and not the best staff either... you can do a whole lot better in this area. If you're looking for just french fries there are plenty places nearby that do a lot better for lower prices.

Good, quick and easy way to enjoy a seafood meal. They serve almost anything in this area. The oysters are really nice.

The best seafood place I've visited in The Netherlands was recommended by my Dutch friend. All the seafood is as fresh as "just caught". Everything was just perfect.

Nice place to spend a couple of hours in a cozy atmosphere with family or friends enjoying great food, fresh fish. Not expensive.
