Cant honestly remember what I ate here, but I just remember the experience and the feel of being in the Pelgrom. Recommended to me by family members that live in the Netherlands. My sister and I found it on a small side street. Entrance does not have any staff, just a candle lit stairway down into the restaurant. Feels like... More

As many have described, the cellar provides a unique environment to eat. The candlelight adds a great atmosphere to the table. Sadly, the other aspects of the restaurant didn't stand out. It took us some time to be greeted and the service overall was minimal and unfriendly. I had high expectations of their top menu item, the rabbit in red... More

His underground cave is an immersive treat. The atmosphere os being underground made me feel like I had escaped to another time. The food was good, and the service was solidly good. The thing I liked the most was the total atmosphere. It was cosy and romantic. :)

The positives: - Very special location - Cosy - Open for large groups The negatives: - Price! - Personell is often rude and unfriendly. And I have been there often, unfortunately it did not happen only once.

We visited de pelgrom after dinner for drinks. The place is turned into a bistro from a cellar and it was very nice. It is a very nice place to have a feeling of the traditional and local atmosphere of belgium. They have lots of selections for drinks including kinds of jenevers.

Off the main track, down a side alley. Set in a Cellar, quirky & unusual :-) But the food is very good & hearty portions. The rabbit is not to be missed. Well worth the effort to track it down.

We had dinner here and I have to say it was one of my favorite places in Belgium. I think everyone should experience this restaurant. Not only was the food absolutely amazing but the restaurant itself was breathtaking. No words can describe the restaurant except that the owner did a wonderful job and it's an amazing concept. Very homey one... More

The location is unique in one of the small streets of Antwerp. (Pelgrimstraat) In an old middle aged building where you can visit a small museum there you can enter the cellars with wooden tables and benches and only the lights of candles in bottles. A very quiet place (until a large group enters). A nice concept, you definitely have... More
