It is not only the classic "Boulettes" that draw us to Les Brassins. It is truly authentic and unpretentious as well as great value. Why is this a great place to sit, drink and eat? The staff is extremely welcoming, warm and almost like family when you visit regularly. Aldo, Mayra and the others make you feel at home -... More

So by now you're all wondering what the hell I'm rambling on about (again...) well it's another inspired look at architecture, food and restaurant reviews (I hope...). It goes a bit like this; traveling in cites we tend to stay on the main arteries, in the zones where the restaurant are legion, the bars flourish and the locals generally avoid... More

This is one of the best meats I've ever tasted. Simply Magical Melange of Flavors. I Really liked it.

Traditional food, very tasty with large portions. You need a reservation at least one day before as it is too small and always full. The service is ok.

Les Brassins is a Brussels must. Its full of athmosphere, its hidden in a residential street close to Audrey Hepburns birthplace. Great menu, quality service and terrific food. Just go there and enjoy.

Located in the heart of Ixelles, this brasserie provides a real Belgian atmosphere. The place is simply decorated, cosy and with as many seats as it can accommodate. Don't expect tablecloths on the tiny tables, which are next to each other; however the restaurant is quiet enough to allow a seamless conversation. When we arrived all tables were occupied, so... Great restaurant to try the Belgian cuisine with all the classics: mules, carbonnades, jamboneau, stoemp..and frites! Always nice atmosphere even with big groups. Nice terrace after repavement of the street.

This bistrot like restaurant seems to be a local favorite for a totally unknown reason. The food quality is less than average. I ordered some Sword fish, which was as dry as wall paper (poor fish...). The sauce that came with it was super creamy and thick and was to compensate for the badly cooked fish, I suppose. I avoided... More
