We came here because it was recommended to us by a friend a few years back. We started with the Pils on tap (Zenne) and some shrimp croquettes. I thought both were delicious but the wife thought the croquettes had too much fish flavor. Onto...the main course, I had "Stuffed Pork Cheeks" while the wife had Cordon bleu. Both items were 21 Euro. My stuffed pork cheeks were actually pork cheeks, not stuffed. I think it's just a bad translation but oh man I was not displeased. They were delicious. There were specks of bacon in what tasted like a reduced beef & beer consommé sauce. The wife really enjoyed her Cordon bleu. Both dishes came with the choice of mashed potatoes, fries or veggies. She got the mash and I got the frittes/fries/pommes. I wasn't unhappy at all. I used to be disgusted at folks that ate their fries with mayo, but I have to admit that it was pretty good. I also tried their sour beer (on tap, didnt get the name). It wasn't for me as it tasted like sourkraut juice mixed with beer. The staff was quite friendly and their English was good. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment to anyone. The folks sitting next to us had some chicken nuggets that looked like the best chicken nuggets in the world! We overheard them talk about the batter being extra crunchy. Thanks for the best first meal we had in Brussels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS - We happen to get lucky before 1900 but within 10-15 minutes of us sitting down, the place was packed. My friend said he was surprised we got a table without reservations.More

We loved the food! Waiter was friendly, super helpful with perfect recommendations. Our 1 vegetarian enjoyed the food, but the highlight was for our meat eaters. Steak and stew were perfect! And the beer drinker loved the choice of over 100 beers, and was pleased...with the waiters recommendation. Our non beer drinkers loved the wine options. It was our best experience in Brussels and we will be back! We highly recommend this restaurant!More

I had time for a quick lunch between trains so I popped in here. My first meal out since the end of lockdown in the UK, so memorable for that reason anyway! But I was very glad of my choice. A very relaxed atmosphere (possibly...because it wasn’t full) and very friendly service. A lot of the food and beers weren’t available, possibly due to the impact of COVID? But what I had I very much enjoyed. I was surprised that the vol-au-vent came without pastry. Being British I didn’t say anything obviously, but very tasty nonetheless.More

Came to Nüetnigenough in 2018 on our first trip to Brussels and had a memorable experience. The food was excellent, as was the beer, and each of the staff was very kind and helpful. A wait formed during our meal and we never felt rushed....Still talk about this place a couple of years later and will certainly be back next time we're in Brussels. We love you, Nüetnigenough!More

Simple, but delicious cooking. We've been by a few times (or three), and we will come back next time we are in the neighbourhood for sure.

We saw a review on Yelp and decided to try... we were so pleased by the food and service. The dining area was small but we were seated in less than 10minutes. We were provided by an English menu. We tried the meatballs, beef stew...and sausage. They were all superb! Highly recommended. The resto does not have a huge sign outside, it can be missed easily.More

Spent a long weekend in Brussels with my wife. We enjoyed the food, of course the beer, and walking and riding around the old town, but one of the best memories is surely dinner at Nuetnigenough. My wife found many good reviews on TA.com and...elsewhere and it sounded like exactly what we were after to finish our weekend - small, traditional Belgium but with some twists (e.g., tapas!). Menu is relatively short but interesting. We shared some shrimp coquettes, which were a far cry from the normal tasteless deep fried mush. Good omen for the rest of the meal. We then opted for 2 standards for our mains - veal meatballs (this version in white beer sauce) and flemish style beef stew. Both were really well designed and executed, very tasty, rich but not overly so, good size portions and accompaniments. After 3 days of tasting the incredible broad range of Belgium beers on offer, we were pleasantly surprised to find a carefully curated list with a number of bottles and breweries we hadn't yet tried or even seen listed anywhere else. Loads of from artisinal and small brewers. The service throughout was great (small place but they were jammed and they managed very well). Overall a lovely experience. Then...the next morning as we were leaving, we realized we had a lost a fleece and after checking a few other places were happy to learn that the restaurant had it, and would mail it back to us in the UK. Thank you again Benoit. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.More

The best part of this experience were the friendly Americans sitting beside us. Came off of recommendation from a friend - and were let down. Heard the honey ham was something to be dreamt of, however, it left something to be desired. The servers were...inattentive and had to approach the bar various times whilst they were in their phones. Though, the decor was lovely and ambiance was nice.More

The beef stew and the beer were amazing! The staff was lovely and the place was cozy with a nice vibe. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes were just a little bit too salty for me but other than that I had a very enjoyable meal. I...would definitely eat here again though!More

Small restaurant that doesn't seem to something but IS very comfy on the inside, the food served is UNBELIEVABLY good and authentic. The variety of micro breweries' craft beers of Belgium you get to choose from is astonishing.

Hi Britty, My sister is allergic to dairy and it was a bit difficult for her. The only dish she could eat was the salmon and chicken, but the salmon is with sea food (she is also allergic) and the chicken was over. She... More
