This train station is very big and has lots of stores and restaurants. There is a ticket office there where i found the workers to be very helpful with any questions you have. It can be a bit overwhelming at first but soon you learn the exits very easily. The trains here run on time and i never had a... More

Very good staff and accommodations as well as service. Close to transit and canals and very reasonable transit rates.

Sprawling station -- expect long walks. Much harder to find an ATM than we expected. Maybe we expected too much, but the store/food options here were lacking. Unlike Deutsch Bahn, no legit lounge for first-class travel on Thalys. (There is a lounge at Midi, but it is just a waiting room. DB lounges are impressive.)

Visiting Antwerp and passing through Brussels Midi station at the end of my Eurostar journey. Its not a patch on St Pancras station, and the food outlets are pretty average

We were given excellent tourist advice by staff that was very helpful and saved us a lot of money and allowed us to see more of the country. Thanks

We were catching the train from Midi Station to Ostend and this is one big train station. Packed with all forms of fast food outlets and bars ,the station is busy . There are innumerable ticket machines and a big ticket office and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The platforms are a little dated but as long as... More

Rude nonchalant service. Waiting hall is rather a shelter for homeless people occupying the few metal cold sits. The platform has not being renovated since World War two. Aging filthy and it seems allowed to smoke drugs on the platform. The surroundings of the station are taken from a horror movie screen. Grey ugly incoherent architecture, buildings tunnels and bridges... More

Some stations are grand. Others have welcoming cafes or shops. MIDI is not that kind of place. MIDI is the kind of place to get on and go or get out and move on from. If you have to wait here, go to the bar/cafe across the street. It is light and has basic fare in a warm location. Try... More

This station has everything in it... as in Thalys as well as intercity etc. The Midi station also has a range of shops and food to eat on the go. Last minute chocolate shopping? They have it all. They allow you to pay in Euros or by credit card. Everything is pretty simple but the trains smell. Brussels is not... More
