Nicely located on the Grote Markt. Nice style and food was just fine. There are better places close by such as Scheltema

Nice and cosy restaurant on Grand Place. Food was standard for Brussels, nothing above par. Service was somewhat confused and slow.

We had dinner here during our time in Brussels. I'm glad that we didn't read the reviews before we visited otherwise we would probably have gone elsewhere. Which would have been a pity. We were received with courtesy and shown to our table. The interior has a traditional - almost club like - feel. For better or worse I have... More

Nice charming bar. They serve all 6 Belgian Trappist beers including Westvleteren. Downside...they charge 30€ per 33cl bottle. GTs are expensive as well. Brussels prices but this is Dendermonde. But we liked the bar.

Absolutely disappointing! It started off so good the restaurant looked clean and the waiter was very friendly....until we were seated that is! As soon as we where in and placed an order for our main it took all of our efforts to even get a drink. They then came around with some very nice bread rolls but that's where the... More

Like the children's story, Brasserie de l'Ommegang is a beautiful space in a fairytale setting and every interaction leaves one wondering whether one is missing the exquisite offering the waiter is serving up. The truth is, no amount of salesmanship can atone for the fact that the emperor has no clothes. The interior of the restaurant itself is a historic... More

We visit this restaurant every time we visit Brussels. Always for lunch. The location, food and service are always excellent. This time we invited a friend for dinner. The oysters, croquettes for starters were as expected. However the mains were very disappointing. I love veal kidneys and find them difficult to obtain in Southern Spain. We asked for them pink and... More

Great location: You can have lunch while seeing activities in Grand Place. Great food: I have a half-lobster for lunch. The rabbit and cod is also good. Great service: They are friendly and professional. Reasonable price.

We were in Brussels for about 24 hours. We wanted to have dinner in the Grand Place. We picked Ommegang due to its location and exterior looks. The food was very good. Not excellent but well worth the money. The staff was very friendly. The ambience awesome. Overall a very fine experience. We would eat there again if we lived... More

This place is a bit of a tourist trap, popular with chinese groups. Food is ok? But not spectacular...
