I can't claim to have visited every bar in Brussels, far from it, but I did manage to get into one or two. This one is without a doubt my absolute favourite. I can't imagine there can be many bars or cafes that can rival it for originality and atmosphere. For me, this place 'is' Brussels. The decor of carved... More

Always go here when in Brussels, I just love the ambience and the building. The service is always rushed, but perfect as the guys are friendly and helpful. Food is great too for lunch or snack.

This is a good restaurant for anyone looking to have some decent Belgian food without ridiculous tourist prices. We had the waterzooi and flamandes awesome!!! We sat outside as it wasn't too chilly - the food is served without much of a wait, the service was good and the waiter quite friendly and good with recommendations from the menu.

Just on the other side of the Stock Exchange, the world famous Falstaff was closed earlier this year. Le Cirio offers a good alternative. Jacques Brel used to be one of their customers. Lots of people come here to enjoy a 'half en half', sparkling Italian wine mixed with Italian white wine. Some geuzes and decent bar food on the... More

Traditional bar; a good range of beer with good, friendly service. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the food.

A friend who lives in Brussels took my wife and I here for dinner, as a good example of a local bistro. We had a light dinner of soup, sandwiches, etc and a couple of beers. Most of the food was nothing special, although the fries were quite good. Service was underwhelming even by European standards. Prices were quite reasonable.

This is such a fantastic place. Although I was here a few years back, I shall never forget that place. So classy and you felt warmly welcomed - as soon as you set your foot through the door. The waiter - Luciano was incredibly attentive and the place was so clean, classy and calming after a good days excursion to... More

I took the recommendation from a guide book and saw that it was close by and dropped in for coffee then followed the suggestion. Coffee was good at hit the spot and the 'Half & half' was great compromise ie sparkling and still wine 50/50. Plainly a popular spot for this alone and it was cheaper than the coffee! Popular... Located near the famous Grand Place and next to the bourse, a bar where time seems to have stopped in the early 20th century. A good selection of beers.

Once you enter this amazing place, you will feel like you are in the time loop. Location is excellent so the place is vivid with calming energy full of hospitality. Traditional bar with the beautiful art nouveau interior, has a facade dating from 1909, located just next to Bourse you really feel like you are trapped in the time loop... More
