Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited here for breakfast . Sitting outside with fabulous view of the church opposite. Friendly staff. You order at counter & get given a little disc , it flashes when your order is ready. I had waffle with fruits & latte. I tried waffles...from 4 different places & the waffle here was definitely the best & so tasty. We returned in the afternoon for iced latte.More

It's in a very expensive neighbourhood in Brussels so expensive too, but a lovely spot to sit in comfy seats, hip crowd, sweet spot!

We liked this place a lot - the perfect spot for some Brussels brunch. Great waffles, excellent avocado toast, thick gloopy milkshakes. Friendly, genuine staff too.

Cafe du Sablon is located along Rue de la Regence right across from Église Notre-Dame des Victoires au Sablon. Opening hours are 8am to 8pm (weekdays) and 9am to 8pm (weekends). They have relaxed indoor seating as well as outdoor tables. You can do take-away...as well. Stopped by here recently and had a good espresso macchiato and serving of quiche for breakfast. Serving size and prices were fair, service friendly and timely. Overall, a good light breakfast in the Place du Grand Sablon area, one I'd be happy to return for during future visits to Brussels.More

This place is opposite to the Notre Dame du Sablon church. You can come into this café and have a bite while you marvel at the church, but also the food is delicious and the staff is attentive and very helpful. Would come back

The first time we were here was 3 years ago and it didn't impress us one way or another, so I wouldn't bother to write something based on that experience alone. However, we tried our luck a second time for an afternoon / evening coffee...a few days ago (December 2021) and it was a total mess. According to the hours published online they were supposed to close at 20.00. We arrived to see a printed timetable, mentioning 19.30 instead. We entered the place (it was around 18.30), sat down and went to the cashier to order. The guy told me there was a problem with the computer registering the orders so we had to wait for it to come back on. After 5-10 minutes (18.40) I got up again, only to be told that they were about to close in 10 minutes and whether we would like to order our coffee for take-out in paper cups! Needless to say, we just left. On top, there was no check whatsoever for COVID test certificates (CST) and I doubt anyone bothered to disinfect tables. At least, the door was constantly open however. Other than that, the place's "decoration" is cheap-modern/bland (=empty white walls and a glass looking at the street outside). There are some sweets / pastries available in an open fridge from where you can pick up what you like. Tables and chairs are fairly small and not very comfortable. Not coming back.More

a very unfortunate experience for me this morning. I ordered 1x espresso and 1x flat white, which I paid right away at the front desk. They hand me this disk that buzzes when order is ready. I go sit outside and after 16 mins my...order is not ready. I asked for refund and I leave.More

We had lunch here on a sunday afternoon. My partner had a sandwich with mozzarella and tomato and I had a salad. We also shared a piece of cheesecake and had an iced tea and iced coffee. the food was very good, as was the...iced coffee. the iced tea was rather tepid. We loved the location and vibe of the café, but it was rather expensive for the products offered. We paid over 30 euros for a small lunch with 1 drink.More
