As you sit down, you will note this a very nice traditional Belgian seafood restaurant. Once the food comes, you will realize that every dish is better than the prior one. The gastronomic menu is wonderful, as are the croquettes crevettes, sole meuniere (light lemon butter sauce) and oysters. Look for anything on the menu with red lettering, as these... More

Easy to find in the Galleries. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food lived up to our expiations. We had various types of fish, sweetbreads, etc. to please 6 different people. Brightly lit, maybe a bit to bright, but a winner.

This is a straightforward, traditionally run restaurant with excellent food. For a fancy meal go elsewhere, for a superb meal come here.

A hearty welcomming by the owner let you make a choice to take place downstairs where it always busy or upstairs in a quieter envirement. We did start with a glass of Champagne. We were offered a bowl of fresh Nordsea grey shrimps. The waiter upstairs is top! Friendly with sens of humor. He is attentfull in his service. The... More

This small restaurant is serious about fresh fish prepared in classic French manner. The shared sole is perfect in a crisp coating of browned butter. Poach cod was perfectly cooked and served with a light butter/cream/herbal sauce. Green beans worth comment. Tender baby shoots with light butter/shallot coating. Not inexpensive but well worth price paid. Merci!

They service was very good and the food wasn't half bad but not worth the price there are many other places around that have better bang for your buck.

Stumbled upon this by accident as it had started to rain during our night stroll to check the church across it, St. Catherine's. Went ahead to get some late dinner and had their set meal with (medium-sized) lobster and it was juicy, tasted fresh, and nothing "fusionish". Good find, though has this heavy, traditional and stuffy vibe, something that grandparents... More

One of the best fish meals ever tasted. Small fish restaurant located at St. Katherin. This was not my last diner in this nice place.

We picked this restaurant from a recommendation on the Conde Nast for being good for Moules Frites. In honesty, the mussels themselves were lovely, fresh and big, the bread and butter was absolutely amazing, the frites were good, however the mussels sauce (with wine) could have been slightly better. Service was attentive, they spoke in English for us when they... More

We had heard about this restaurant near Place St. Cathérine in Brussels before going there. Some weeks ago we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. The interior is a bit old-fashionded but that contributes to the atmosphere, one feels like being transported into the past, say, Brussels of the 1950' or '60. The food was... More
