This was a descent restaurant with a descent beef but the Moule fritt was Terrible!!!! No flavor at all! Totally dissappointed! The oysters were ok. Service was ok. Give it a 4 out of 10 Do not recommended it even if the German Chancellor eats there.

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children (10 and 13 years). We did not have a reservation but we were more than welcome, even though the restaurant was quite full. We and the children had a excellent lunch for a reasonable price. And the french fries for the 2 children were free. The atmosphere was lively and... More

Met a friend at the central station, and we walked over to La Taverne du Passage through this beautifully ornate arcade, down a winding side street! We actually ended up in the back entrance, and walked in feeling like we had uncovered a secret! It's one of those great places where you just take the time to eat, I didn't... More

Plenty of restaurants downtown. Plenty are attractive, but be careful with the quality, cleanness, etc... La Taverne du Passage is one of the few restaurants that I really can recommend you if you absolutely want to have a lunch or dinner in that area. No bad surprise. Food & Prices are OK.

Great traditional Belgian and French dishes, served in style. Quality food and quality service. A real pleasure.

I had friends over from Holland and I wanted to treat them to our real belgian cuisine. What a disappointment ! The food was as plain as it comes, the carbonnades flamandes were the same as you can get in any Fritkot, the chicons au gratin had no crust, the sauerkraut is better when you buy in the supermarket, the... 11 of us had dinner at La Taverne du Passage after strolling around Grande Place. What a great experience! The wait staff were fun, multilingual and attentive! I had the mussels in white wine with fries - absolutely delicious! The desserts were also nice - we all shared chocolate mousse, creme brûlée and some type of pastry with ice cream... More

We went for New Year's eve dinner to Taverne du Passage. The food selection was not big, but a good mix of different meats and fish. We liked the wine selection and the food tasted good. The service could have been a little better, but as it was full, this might have been difficult.

Recommendation came from hotel, looking for restaurant in Brussels central area. In Brussels for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. Classical restaurant, with white table cloths. As it was in the afternoon not very busy. Quite pricey for the value received. However, first time in area and cannot comment really on comparative experiences.

La Taverne du Passage is a belgian-french cuisine brasserie opened sinds 1930 - Typically designed in art-deco style - You will find there all the brussels specialities like mussels, waterzooie and of courses the shrimps croquettes (a must!!) - but also french dishes like choucroute, andouillette, rognon,... - Large choice of wines - Very friendly service, the guys finish most of the time the preparations in front of you - And all this located in the majestuous gallery Saint Hubert in central Brussels - It is open non stop from noon till midnight.
