Took some friends here to enjoy some mussels and as always Chez Leon did not disappoint, with selections, and ambiance. Ate here quite a bit when we lived here in 90s, and restaurant still has a great selection of food, especially the mussels and frites which were outstanding. One of our guests ordered a steak which was actually very good... More

Had some really good snails here as a starter, and fantastic gratinated mussels as a main. My girlfriend had fish, which also was very good! Kind staff, good service and reasonable prices.

It was just the worse restaurant I've ever been to. I should have left the restaurant when the waiter was so rude from the beginning. I wanted to order raw mussels, but the waiter said it was seasonal so I couldn't have it. So I asked him to give me more time to think as I needed to think to... More

Having read good reviews on line and being recommended in the tour book we decided to try this restaurant on our first night. It was a Sunday at 8.30 and there was a line, we waited about 25 minutes. The food was extremely average at best. The famous chips were gross and overcooked. My boyfriend got a steak which he... More

Was deciding which Mussels restaurant (many around the area) to go for dinner and saw this restaurant. Ordered the set comprising Mussels, shrimp salad and a beer. Service is acceptable despite it being crowded. Like the small little scrimps with the salad. Nicely done. Food is excellent. Mussels a bit smaller than normal but then again, it tastes better as... Although it was early evening the restaurant was busy. This helped the atmosphere but did not deprive us of a table. The service and food were good. There was a wide choice with an emphasis on Belgian traditionals. There was a good price/quality ratio.

We came here after searching for somewhere for dinner in the area, we saw that Chez Leon had good reviews so gave it a go and we weren't disappointed. The food was good and not bad value for money but the thing that really made it for us was the service. Our waiters were great and really had a genuinely... More

I love a good piece of fish and this was the best bit I think I have ever had. Buttered and yummy. My mother enjoyed the modules frites. A fabulous institution
