I went for dinner with my boyfriend and we were delighted. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice; the staff explained how the whole "eat with your hands and share" worked and then made us try out the first bite. When the food came, we had a huge variety of stuffing (meat or vegetables, spicy and not) to put... More

I really loved this restaurants. It's maybe my favorite restaurant in the city, as the flavors are amazing and it's really a concept of food-sharing with your friends or family. I've been here several times, with family or with my couple. I never regret. It's not cheap, but it's great for special occasion with special people. And if you're vegetarian,... More

Terrible service. Unfriendly, impolite, arrogant. First waiter tells me 'yes, you can look in my eyes', second waiter, when we asked for the bill, says 'Wait, I have work to do' then he rushed away to serve another table'...... They also charge on VISA, AMEX cards etc...

You open the door and great exotic smells assault you. The welcome was quite warm even if I was on my own. I was treated to an amuse bouche to start with which was a tasty rice with garlic, ginger, and spices. The vegan discovery plate was a combination of ratatouille, coriander lentils, spicy lentils, smashed yellow peas, spinach, potatoes-cabbage-carrots,... More

You've eaten Ethiopian food before. We hadnt so had no idea what was going on when they started to spoon both vegetarian and meat orders out onto on single plate covered with a crepe (We didnt even know crepes were a part of it). I had to tell the waiter to stop and explain what he was doing and why.... More

Went here with friends and had a really nice evening. Be prepared to eat with your hands. Not the fastest, but hey, it's African food. Very good drinks

Delicious food, a lot of vegan choices. I loved the tradition of giving the first piece to the person that is next to you. Very flavoured & colourful food, I'll be back soon :)

The restaurant is located in the centre of Brussels, so but not expensive at all. I thought the dishes would be more spiced, but it tasted quite dull for my liking. Good cocktails on the other hand.

The food is delicious, with a varied menu. The atmosphere is definitely classier than most restaurants in the centre of Brussels. The service at the table is good, you get explanations about the dishes as well as suggestions. On the other hand, you can expect a rude treatment if you do not order for an "expected" value - we went... More

Always a firm favourite when in Brussels. A short walk from the mannequin pis, this Ethiopian restaurant offers a change from the usual. Eat with you hands using the pancakes. A good selection of vegi food, as well as meat. Service is always a little slow though...be warned!!

Thank Bellylou
