What a find! We literally stumbled across this "hole in the wall" Italian restaurant while walking from our hotel to another restaurant. We were struck by how much fun everyone seemed to be having when we walked by so we stopped in. They were full...but we liked the vibe and staff and decided to wait. We were so glad we did! The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was great. The prices/value were excellent. But the cherry on top was the food! We loved our hand selected anti-pasta. Enjoyed the bruschetta. Would get the pasta cacio de pepe again in a heart beat and LOVED the desserts! Don't be a dummy. Make it a stop next time your are in Brussels!More
What a little gem of a place! Great service (the staff all seem like they are having so much fun!), great food, lovely b
Wonderful restaurant. Excellent food and supremely good service. Different languages catered for and the serveuse were lovely., remembering us like long lost friends on our second visit.
Great food with an even better service! The seafood pasta was quite delicious, and so were the gnocchis. We ended the night with a tasty shot of limoncello.
I have been coming to Il Pasticcio for several years now, the food is excellent! So it was a few weeks ago too. After I finished, I went to the corner to grab my winter coat – I had to lean over several luggages placed...there, so in order to be able to reach it, I balanced on one foot and leant towerd the coat. In the meantime, behind my back a new waiter (this was his first or one of his first days) was running with some coffee, and he banged into my leg. He immediately scolded me agressively. When he came back I told him, sorry dude, I have no eyes on my back. Then immediately he came 2 centimeter close to my face and giving me a lecture. He had terrible breath, I told him "you should brush your teeth". Within half a second he gave me a huge slap in the face. He said he understood "(a vulgar profanity I am not allowed to write)". Well, the two sentences are not very similar and invited him to consult a doctor to check his ears. I guess this was some subconscious wishful thinking from his part, but I cannot provide any such services, sorry. Of course by the time I was in position to retaliate the slap, the terrified lady colleagues whom I have known for many years put themselves between us. It was a good decision to do so. In such an excellent restaurant with such a good reputation, acts like this cannot be tolerated, and I expect the management to take appropriate measures, as I have also pointed this out to them on the scene. I have also reported this case to the police. On top of this, after having been treated like this, they even made me pay for my lunch. Absolute scandal. I think this is the only country in Europe where such a taboo, hitting a client, can happen. At least if I had dserved the slap by saying something nasty, but not even that. Even if I had said "pizza margharita", thus guy would hav ehit me, he was up for beating right from the start.More
Visited here on a lunch time with my wife and 18 month old baby. It was busy but the staff got us in. The menu was explained to us very well. The service was on the slower side, but it is the norm is Brussels....We both had the pasta and it was very very nice. Rich in taste, cooked al dente. Can thoroughly recommend this place, very nice!More
Wonderful restaurant experience! We had a great experience beginning with the detailed menu description followed by the wonderful unique flavors of the white pork with truffles and lasagne that we ordered. We were offered an additional serving of the pork which we devoured as fast...as the first. Truffles were hand grated at our table. The attentive and friendly staff made us feel very welcomed and at home in a foreign city! House wine was a great value and very good!We arrived at 7 when they opened and they filled up very quickly. Highly recommend this restaurant for a fun and filling experience!More

Our family visited there and had been nice experience. Food and wine were really good and owner and their staff were also nice, familiar. It was good memory for us. Thanks!!!
The service is SO perfect, always caring and suggesting... And the food it’s just AWESOME! My fav italian in Brussels !
Great atmosphere, food and wine, what's not to like. It is quite expensive but then everywhere seems to be in Brussels, must be all the Eu money!!
Without a doubt the best Italian in Brussels. The best fresh pasta you will eat with the best service you can receive in Belgium. I would recommend this place for everyone!!
The time to read the menu, we were offered an aperitif, an "improved", tasty Prosecco… Nice surprise. The choice of meals is large, each of our group of four found his preferred lunch. Light for ladies, heavier for men. I went for lentils with smoked...pork knuckle. Unfortunately, the juicy piece of pork knuckle I was dreaming about appeared to be just few pieces of meat dropped on the lentils. The taste was nice but it was not what I expected. My friends largely enjoyed their meal. Which was promptly served, no long waiting time to see first food arriving. At the end we were offered a Grappa or Limoncello. With winter outside, hard to refuse... Overall a positive experience, booking in advance for the lunch time is strongly recommended in this offices area.More
