I now have been here over five times across the years. Life is really beautiful when you enjoy a dinner here. I love their meat dishes and as others already wrote, you will get awesome value for your money. The ambience is uniquely awkwardly interesting. The two gentlemen running it are so nice. Bring a bit of your French language... More

Best meal we have had all week travelling through Italy,Sicily,France and Belgium. Steak cooked to perfection as requested, Chicken and Camembert superb served with absolutely massive side plate. Including soft drinks only €30. Would expect to pay at least twice this amount in Aberden. May delay departure from Mons just to go back for lunch tomorrow.

Simple menu, simply cooked, properly prepared, tasting wonderful. This is a family restaurant. Remember to ask about their deal to buy two meals and get a free bottle of wine.

Loads of specials chalked up outside - worth investigating. The interior is a bit wacky (loads of puppets of all varieties) but you soon forget that when you see what folk are tucking into. My wife and I both had a plat at more than 14 euros and so benefitted from a free bottle of surprisingly decent claret - so... More

We had passed this restaurant several times when looking for restaurants with a group of friends for a regular evening out. We tended to shy away due to a relatively low number of diners, but what a mistake. This local, non-chain restaurant is relatively cheap, with a varied menu but as others have pointed out mostly meat. The chateaubriand is... More

Just out from the main square the restaurant is easily accessible, but not touristy. The menu is simple and revolves around lumps of meat in all their forms (I think there was a pasta for vegetarians, but definitely aimed at the meat eater). The steaks were massive and extremely good value, all served with a potato dish of choice. The... More

Close to Grand Place, Mons, we found this nice restaurant, cozy and familiar, "very Kisch" and with nice food. Well worth a visit!

If you want to eat outside without spending too much, this is the place. Plenty of meat! La vie es belle, why don't eat meat?

We stayed just across the road at the Infotel so tried this restaurant on our second night in town. Well the food was excellent, the service very good and could not moan about the price. An all round good experience (Thursday 8th November). So good we went back the next night (Friday 9th November).. Oh what a difference. We noticed... More
