We stayed in a very well appointed apartment in Liege when we went to the Grand Prix in Spa. We were not in the city for much of the time, commuting to the motor racing for much of our stay, but evening meals were definitely an important part of this mini break. Some of the restaurants in Liege were a... More

Honestly, I hesitated for a while before leaving my commentary. Speaking of food, it's really good there! If you're visiting a city it's not even a question to leave it without trying local meat balls, French fries and the real café liégeois (OMG it's delicious!!). So I got no questions about the cuisine - it's great, as well as the... More

After we could not get into our intended restaurant that option came up and it did not disappoint. The food was good, maybe a bit on the expensive side. Service was quick and friendly. So the evening was saved.

When in Liege...and in need of a true Bistro this will serve you well. Soup de Poisson, Lamb, salads, and other local favorites in a comfortable and casual setting. The food is excellent, the bill is fine. The local dessert, Cafe Liegois is something worth ordering...magnifique!

This is a very pleasant and comfortable restaurant, which is part of the larger Maison du Peket. We could have easily been put off as we walked through the main entrance but the very helpful bar person showed us into the restaurant Amon Nanesse. The service is impeccable and the quality of food was excellent. The visit to Liege was... More

I was in Liege with my son for the Belgian GP. First night we ate near the hotel, and had a fairly average steak & frite. Second night we tried Amon, I had rabbit, son had duck. Both excellent, good service and good beer! Second night choice was easy, we went back and had veal kidneys, very good. Third night,... More

I dined here with a colleague in March 2015, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was surprising quiet. However, the food was great - although very large portions. The atmosphere was nice and it had a nice cosy authentic feeling about it. Worth a try.

Is not always easy to find a nice and traditional restaurant, however, this one is great. Decoration is authentic and cozy, very clean and neat. Staff was kind and helpful. Food was really good, we ordered duck and "vol au vent maison" and they were just perfect and copious, a lot of "french fries" and salad. The beer was also... More

When we last went to Liège we visited the christmas market which is slowly becoming huge. Being rather cold, we went to The House of Peket, which is the café of Amon Nanesse. Local specialities include schnaps flambé and we tried one as an appetizer. The restaurant and café are situated in the heart of the ancient city, in one... More
