presents well, the space and décor, window tarts looked ok. But… leek soup OK, average… the scone type bread was stale and with suger bits in it! And the coffee basically shocking. First could not make an espresso machiato, only latte macchiato (ie milky water), then the straight espresso was feeble, tasteless.. never again. Odd because Café Rosario round one... More

Don't get me wrong, the building is stunning and it has a beautiful atmosphere. But after receiving cold coffee I was less than impressed to receive a cold bowl of soup. I informed the waitress who kindly returned it to the kitchen, only to be handed another cold bowl of soup. Not to mention that the soup was consumed using... More

Had to wait much too long for any hot food ordered and ate the worst croque Monsieur I've ever had. Prices are much too high for this type of food and I would strongly suggest you try any one of the other nearby bars & restaurants.

We fell upon this place and what a great find it was on a grey damp Sunday morning. Wonderful warm ambience, the best pain au chocolat I've ever had and delicious scrambled eggs served by friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Ate at two different Le Pains in Ghent. For a late afternoon snack, went to the one on Kalandeberg. Cakes looked great, and the one I chose (warm spice cake) was indeed tasty. Coffee was weak, but that's my general impresssion of all coffees in Ghent. Service was fine, except it took forever to pay the bill at the cash... More

We need a Saturday lunchtime snack on our day in Gent, so we were relieved when the staff found us a table for two, as the queue for places but up. Coffee, water, a shared smoked salmon sandwich later and we were ready to go. Lovely building and shared with an interesting shopping 'destination' too. Warm and brisk service.

We had a late breakfast here our first day in Ghent. So not worth it. A croissant costs 3 euros. We had croissants in other places the rest of our vacation. They cost about 1,50,so we felt a bit ripped off. Service is also slow but the building is beautiful.

Located in the old post office building, LPQ, in any city I visit, never fails to deliver. Great lively atmosphere, hearty food (including many vegan options), lovely interiors and friendly staff. My only negative comment would be that my quinoa and chick pea soup arrived not very warm, but that was quickly taken care of by our waitress. I love... More

Went in this restaurant as it seemed quite friendly from outside. The inside is awesome indeed. Nice decoration and unusual. The soup was good but not awesome. Service is friendly. A bit expensive...
