We were two tourists come in from the winter rain for a hearty meal. And that we did find!!! Passions' interior warmed us to the core and meal was EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! The best choice was the Waterzooi, the casserole of chicken. A tender fragrant broth of gentle spices and scallion. The chicken was soooo tender and the broth was nothing short... More

Having just arrived in Ghent we were looking for a place to have lunch Easier said than done when most eateries only serve between 12 and 2pm Luckily for us this one served all day. Very quaint and quirky place... with velvet curtains at the front door and the decor was reminiscent of a luxury living room!! I only wanted... More

Visiting Ghent for the day, walking around the centre taking in the sights and decided to have lunch. Saw Passion and seeing it was quite blustery we chose here because of their indoor dining area. It was lovely, had character, a huge bowl of red gladys graced the bar and the facilities were impeccably clean. Service was excellent and the... More

You don't expect in some cities to have great restaurants bang in the middle of the tourist areas, but in Ghent nothing is ordinary! We popped in for what was our first meal on my return to this city, expecting a simple, decent priced but unspectacular meal and yet as soon as I sat down this was shattered immediately! Service... The five of us had just arrived in Ghent after "red eye" flights, luggage in tow. We were hungry and tired and it was too early to check into our hotels. We spotted the restaurant across from St Niklaaskerk and asked if they had space for 5 for lunch - with baggage. We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant and... More

The beef stew they have is just inexplicably delicious. We went there for dinner based on TripAdvisor reviews and it was a great choice.

I wanted to try something traditional. I had the Flemish style rabbit. It was delicious and a huge portion. The amount on the plate was half of it; the remainder is in the dish behind it.

We were two for dinner. We had carrot soup, beef stew and vol-au-vent. The food was delicious. The restaurant is lovely, very cosy and the staff was very friendly. The location is great, just opposite St Baafs. The prices aren't very cheap but nice portions makes it good value.

Thank wrinaw
