Agrea is a very nice brasserie on the Sint Baafs which is really the city center of Gent.. you can't be any closer. The waiteress, Rita, is a lovely person: she speaks fluent French, English, Spanish.. very helpfull!! Don't hesitate and drop by!!

This little place is absolutely perfect with delicious food - I enjoyed it so much I went back the following day. On my first morning in Ghent I went out on a mission to find waffles for breakfast. Much to my dismay I discovered that here they are considered much more of a breakfast food, and couldn't find anywhere willing... More

Great location in the middle of the city, has a nicer look and feel to it, but frequented by all kinds of people, it seems. Both young and old couples as well as families stopped by while we were there. Ordered waffles with fruits, both very much to our liking. The waffle crisp, light and tasty, different fruits fresh and... More

You would think it would be easy to find Waffles in Ghent, however beware, waffles are generally considered an afternoon snack and not a breakfast food. As a result, it seems that most places in Ghent don't serve waffles until, at the earliest 11AM with many not serving them until 2PM. With 2 children aged 10 and 13 hell bent... More

we decided to have a quick waffle where we ordered one with strawberries and whipped cream; i guess jt was a mistake since the waffle came too crispy and it was good to the whipped creme was there to make it softer; the down part of the experience is that they charged is for extra €1.2 for the extra cutlery,... Brasserie Agrea in Gent was worth the detour off the main road on our way from Amsterdam to Paris. We just had to have Belgian waffles in Belgium. We had waffle with strawberries, waffle with ice cream and chocolate sauce and waffle with cherries and a toast. To drink we had three Cokes and a double espresso. With a tip... More

My husband and I had did not look up any reviews before visiting this place and we were very happy with what we came across. The wait staff spoke English and we were able to easily order a waffle and hot chocolate. They were both delicious!
