I was in Gent for business and I fancied some sushi one Sunday afternoon. I sat outside the restaurant which is in an excellent location to watch the world go by. The food was good but I found the service to not be the greatest. I didn't receive the friendliest of welcomes but I was seated and had my order... More

Located in the middle of the old city centre, and with a nice terrace overlooking one of the squares, the restaurant is well situated. However, it certainly isn´t the best sushi restaurant in Ghent, at least the negri had rather too little fish compared to the amount of fish. The combo did have a good selection of different fish.

I am a bit diffucult concerning sushi, I only like salmon, no tuna, no surimi... But I was able to order several different salmon sets, it was very nice. I liked the dragoneyes best. Atmosphere is ok, sometimes a bit loud but when everybody is eating that goes away. I'll be back.

One of my favourite restaurants and they have different vegetarian dishes and a vegetarian sushi menu. Friendly staff and right in the heart of historical Ghent.

The food is good. We took yakitori, teriyaki, maki and miso soup. Everything was delicious. The service is quick and the personnel is nice.

Very good sushi although somewhat limited selection (all rolls are either tuna or salmon). Also quite cold in the restaurant. But the food and service were good.

We used to have sushi here every few months when my boyfriend was still living near Ghent. The first time we visited we didn't expect much, as the restaurant is located in the tourist heart of Ghent and seemed to be aimed towards tourists. The owners are not Japanese (I believe they are from Nepal?) The reason why we decided... More

I stepped in with a colleague, based on the good recommendations on Tripadvisor, and we were both disappointed. The place is not big, but it was full, and we received the last available table. Despite that, service was quick. The sushi was not so good - the fish were not fresh (something that was especially evident with the sashimi), the... More

We tried this restaurant after reading the positive reviews and were not dissapointed. We ordered a boat for 3 and the choice was huge. Great mixtures of taste and texture. The amount of sushi's was more then sufficient.
