Wandering through downtown Ghent, we finally settled at Amadeus and I must say it was very good choice. You don't go there for a fancy A la Carte dinner and the wine list is the shortest I've seen. We went for the trademark ribs and it was a great choice. The ribs were juicy and tasted great. The house wine... More

The restaurant was packed when we arrived without reservation, but they managed to get us a table anyway. Very bisy interior, everywhere I looked where candeliers and tiles and advertisements and jokes and other stuff. Very funny. The specialty here is ribs and baked potatoes and they actually walk around with big plates of ribs and potatoes and serve you... More

We had passed New Year here about 5 years ago & had a good night however this time it was not to be. The room was cold & our table were ranked against the wall with a barely functional heater Some of the ladies kept their coats on. In spite of complaints nothing was done & the excuses were poor.... OK, I get it. We're from Texas. We know ribs in a way they might not in Europe. So, take this as representative of our point of origin. Don't go to Amadeus if you come from somewhere you'd find lots of placings doing ribs. I figure this is so popular because the ribs are unlimited and because there isn't competition... More

We really enjoyed our meal at the Amadeus. We both had the ribs and the Irish coffee. The ribs are all you can eat and delcious. I could not eat more than one, my partner not more than 2 because they where big. It is low budget and they have good beer plus the interiour is fantastic. You really need... More

All you can eat (with your hands!) spare ribs and really really tasty roasted garlic potatoes. Personally, I'm not so much of a meat eater so I kinda wished for better choices on the menu but my friends loved the spare ribs and took seconds and thirds :P

How can anyone complain about an all you can eat rib place? Service was good. Beer was good. Baked potato was fantastic especially the special butter. Ribs are good and they hand them out like candy!

Very popular place, table booking is advisable. The all-you-can-eat portion of grilled ribs is excellent value, but I cannot accept to pay 2.20 EUR for a small glass of water. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is also remarkable, it is well worth to visit this restaurant if you stay in Gent.

Very good atmosphere in this interestingly decorated restaurant. Surprise! We ate ribs and really enjoyed them. They kept coming and our group kept eating them. Very good fayre, and good service. Recommended for groups, not sure it would be like just for a couple. The atmosphere was great, but we were with a great group.

Nice and lively restaurant in the city centre with good grilled meat, good atmosphere, and very good prices compared to other restaurants of the same area. Nothing classy or refined, but honest dishes and large portions at a reasonable price for Belgium.
