We stopped by while we waiting for the "Adoration of the Lamb" to open up and sat outside. It was a very good stop for a tasty crab salad sandwich on a baguette. The service was friendly and efficient. We also were impressed by the inside dining areas. In between the theatre and the cathedral, it should be a popular... More

We had a great dinner at 't vosken. The service was good, as was the food. The steak was a little grissly, but cooked exactly to order and the accompanying bearnaise sauce was excellent.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee which was fine for this restaurant on one of the squares. The staff must have been trained in France because they were clearly inconvenienced by our presence.

We had a delicious dinner here with terrific, attentive service. The beef stew is outstanding and we also very much enjoyed the Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with homemade chocolate sauce and a cookie) for dessert. The ambiance here is fine but nothing special. The food is outstanding and was recommended to us by two sets of locals we know.... More

The chefs specials were special. I had the Lotte(angler fish) with sautéed leeks, hollandaise and of course, plenty of chips. My friends had Grandmas recipe rabbit stew with apple sauce and Onglet steak. All dishes were yum. Lots of beer of course but good value, wholesome Flemish food.

While staying in Ghent for about a week (twice now) I would often go to 't vosken. Reasonable and delicious with an amazing selection of beers (like everywhere else in Ghent!). Enjoy.

This is a great restaurant. In between the major tourist attraction it's a small oasis of local food. I went there with locals who know trot education around. I tried waterzooi the Gent chicken stew with vegetables. It was great. And he wine was fantastic. On the pricey side but worth spending the extra euros for the food and the... More
