Hidden in the magnificent Sint-Annakwartier lies this little gem of a bar. Aparently built in 1515, this is supposed to be the oldest pub in all of Bruges. Whether it is actually true or not, it is a must-see. Great interior and a fantastic garden to enjoy all available beer and small dishes. Absolutely awesome!

Had a really great drinks evening on a cold January night here with the cosy room/oven keeping everybody warm. Good beer list here obviously.

We went there for an irish coffee and a chocolate. The place is very expensive (15 € for both) and the service quite unfriendly. Before leaving I asked for a glass of tap water to take a pill. They answered that they were not allowed (read: You buy or nothing). The only nice thing was the dog. He entertains the... More

Oldest pub in Bruge, well worth finding as off the beaten track by the canal. Food simple but good, great atmosphere & very nice staff. Pub comes with complimentary Jack Russell called Freddie who is your pal as soon as you order local sausage starter! Great onion soup, meatballs, sandwiches etc & everyone shares a long table so sociable too.

This place has a lot of character and the service is super nice. Some of us ordered the croque monsieur, and it was just OK. The rest tried the fish soup (Bruno's fish soup?) which our server said is the owner's own recipe and it was very good.

Cosy place to stay. We had our lunch there in the oldest Pup in Brügge. The food is exzellent and about the history you can read in the menu card. A must do on your list.

It was recommended to us as a place that locals visit but it was filled with Tourist. The place has a nice relax feeling to it. We had soup, coffee, wine and beer. The soup was tasty cost about €16. They only serves house wine. One the oldest cafes.

Beautiful warmth from the stove to contrast with an ice cold beer. Every visitor to Bruges should come here...

Reputedly the oldest bar in Bruges. A must visit just to feel the history. Warm and inviting with a great selection of beers. The cast iron stove with its flat irons not only heats the place but simply turns the clock back to a past era. We only had drinks but there is a food offering. Go....see and enjoy.
