We entered the restaurant and found a cozy table in the back, by the window. The menu offered so many delicious enticements. The most fabulous surprise was the warm goat cheese and carmelized apple salad, paired with a lovely brown beer at the suggestion of the chef. Our dining experience at Marveilleux is destined to be a highlight of our... More

We had a lunch there and were pretty happy; nice menu, attentive service and a tidy decor with a victorian twist. I think their aim is to stand out, and it's not easy in Brugge.

A real hidden elegant gem in Bruges. Wish we had it in London. Very charming and cozy atmosphere with simply delicious and elegantly presented food. Would recommend when In Bruges.

The location of this premium coffee shop is excellent, and the pastries were looking very tempting (though a bit pricey), although we never got the chance to taste them due to the establishment's policy regarding toddlers (they wouldn't let us bring the simple snacks for our 2-year old and one-year old boys - for which I could not find an... Our hotel recommended this small restaurant and we went for lunch and sat in the tables outside. We had four dishes which were all very good but get the goat cheese and apple salad for a real treat.

this lovely lunch spot was recommended by the Hotel Prinsenhof. Tucked in an alley off one of the main shopping streets, the Merveileux greets you with a pastry display (which despite the temptation, we did not try). We had the chicken stew with puff pastry and the pasta Lucca - both were outstanding.

You must order all the 5 special lunch so go there everyday or twice a day to make the lunch menu also dinner. Be sure to have their dessert as well. The Spanish wine was also good. The couple who runs it are very nice.

Good value food is hard to find in Belgium - good yes but pricey. Merveilleux is a small cafe/bistro that was recommended to us by the staff at Prisenhof. The food was excellent and the service friendly.

This little charming tea room is a great lunch location in the city centre but not touristy at all! We ate a threesome of small lunch tapas (melted goats cheese, shrimp croquet and small vol au vent) @ 16,50 euro and it was lovely! Served with a big salad to balance out the grease :-) The hosts are most charming... More

This is a lunch/afternoon dining coffee salon. They do salads and pasta and pastries and ice cream and the food is fantastic. They only opened in December 09 but they are people who care about food and know food. It's down a little side street in Brugge. We had an absolutely gorgeous lunch there last Monday
