Was looking for a restaurant for tea and for one that offered gluten free options, 't Fonteintje I didn't find mentioned as offering but asked the staff if they could cater and they advised yes. The restaurant was charming with great food and service. I would happily return if visiting Bruges again. So if you have Coeliac disease, so ask... More

Happened upon this restaurant whilst looking for a different place. What a great find. Great food. Great beer. Great wine. Great service. Great value for money. Friendly and helpful. Can't really fault it!

We dropped in early after a long day, thought the restaurant had yet to open but the owner came out to invite us back in. We were alone for about an hour before other diners appeared and the service was brusque yet efficient. The beer, food & wine were what we needed at the right time and, even though no... More

Completely ignored by waiter throughout. Never offered desert. Food was below average and was thrown out after about 2 minutes.

Visited several times always good food and service. The menu is not vast but something for everyone, good local dishes. Staff are friendly and helpful would definitely recommend a visit.

I went there with my family for dinner and everything seemed ok: great location, cozy place, nice menú. Unluckily, me and my sister in law were sick, so we could only have the vegetable soup. At first, the waiter refused to bring the soup to my sister in law just because "she wasn't vegetarian", i never claimed to be a... More

My gf and myself were staying in Brugge 2 nights, and upon looking for a place to have lunch in the centre one day, we stumbled upon 'T Fonteintje randomly (there are many places around it too). The atmosphere was quite cozy and the warmth was welcome having come from the cold outside. It is a family run place, with... More

Very small little place tucked away in a side street - it's not so much 'cosy' as actually small, but it didn't feel too cramped. It may do if it's exceptionally busy though! The menu doesn't have the widest range of food available, but the staff were nice enough to alter dishes for my vegetarian friends. I had chicken in... More

First of all there is nothing to complain about the food quality - the price and what you get totally fits and it tasted very good! BUT the waiter was a really rude person. We were 3 ladies in our group and all of us wanted to eat sth light like a soup.. so the menu offered under the chapter... More
