The food is just unbelievable. So tasty! Tried the spare grilled ribs and the traditional beef stew. I have been travelling for years and visited different countries but haven't found this taste for the last five years. The atmosphere is ambient. Highly highly recommended!

We walked passed this restaurant and stopped because when people came out and we had a glimpse of inside, we were convinced to try it out! It was cosy and the staff was super friendly. We were with 6 people, so ordered a couple of dishes like flemish beef stew, vol-au-vent, chicken wrap and the lamb with the stuffed potatoes... More

From the moment we opened the velvet curtain till we left everything about the place was a joy. Great staff, perfect ambiance and lovely food. The sauces on the lamb and rabbit stew, simply delicious. We have already booked for tomorrow night.

I had the Fleming beef stew which was lovely and very filing. The environment was really nice and the whole family had a lovely time catching up and laughing while having good food. Host was wonderful and staff very efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely old place, off of the main tourist route. The staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming. You get a basket of local breads and pate at the start of your meal which was lovely. Drinks and food both top notch. Veer off the normal routes and enjoy a proper Belgian meal!

We past by on Friday night and got seated at the bar which was perfect! We order the slow cooked ribs and Flemish stew. You also get homemade bread and pate on the side. The food was wonderful and the ambiance in the place is great - dim, red lighting, quirky artifacts, dark wood etc. Brilliant atmosphere - casual but... More

My girlfriend and I had lunch here on the weekend before Christmas. It's cosy and has a very interesting decor. I had the Flemish Stew and my girlfriend had the ribs. Very tasty and good portions. We tried a variety of different beers.

Visited Bruges today for a few hours to get something to eat and have a wander around the shops. This restaurant looked pleasant and interesting from the outside so we thought we'd give it a try. I think we were a little late for lunch and early for dinner but this wasn't a problem for the chef and friendly waiting... More

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening - it was very busy but the manager managed to squeeze us in, thankfully! The restaurant seemed packed with locals which is always a good sign. We ordered and waited for our food and the waitress bought us over bread with chutney and pate - very nice. The only reason I didn't give... More
