A very subtle combination of flavors, colors and composition of all courses! Both the chef and the gerant were able to organize a top dinner for the guest. Compliments for the gerant who could answer all detailef questions correctly.

We had dinner here on a busy Saturday night. Very traditional but nice setting. The food was very good from the aperitif to the dessert! We had the 4 course "menu jeunesse" and took the extra cheese course. We just can't fault the food, nor the service, which was formal but friendly at the same time. We had 2 wonderful... More

This is an excellent restaurant in Kortrijk. We took a Market menu - 3 course on a Friday evening for €35. So, I have to say that it is an excellent price/quality. The appetizers from the house were exquisite and very tasty. Also, every dish including dessert was full of taste and flavor, just delicous!!! The chefs are using fresh,... More

A delightful, creative meal, well priced for such quality and superb waiting staff too. Lots of local people enjoying it too which is always a good sign.

Often the restaurant in the hotel is a side-kick activity. For sure that is not the case here. It breaths the same old chic as the hotel. The Chef is still on a learning curve and needs to manage the spicing sometimes. It does not have a michelin star (yet) and little details in the plates will give that away.... More

Restaurant Damier would expect to get five stars and would have had them from me except for the unfortunate business with the chips. I am marking them down as much for the incorrect response to our complaint as for whatever had gone wrong in the kitchen. But let's assume this was a one-off event and if my husband had not... More

Despite being located in Belgium's oldest hotel, this is a very modern and young restaurant. Chef Martijn and his sous chef Niels bring creative dishes using high quality ingredients. They do their very best to please the customers with plates that are tasty and nice to look at. Definitely a great newcomer in Kortrijk. A chef to watch with a... More

The restaurant is located inside this grand hotel in elegant surroundings. It appears to be very popular with locals. There was a menu available in English. I enjoyed the Turbot which at €45 is quite expensive for the town. However the wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. My partner had a pigeon dish which was beautifully presented and wonderfully... More
