Consistently excellent, flavoursome fare, large menu with all the regular mains and sides you'd expect plus an inviting list of 'chef's recommendations' (my go-to search for something different in any restaurant). Decent size portions, cooked to your preferred heat, excellent quality, and they're not robbing you with their prices.
For religious reasons they no longer hold an alcohol license but the Chequers two doors down are happy for you to take your drinks to the restaurant (and serve you aperitifs and nightcap) and there's no corkage on the restaurant bill. Chequers has a range of draft beers, always an ale and the usual spirits, wines, ciders - great village pub, very friendly.

Having had a leaflet through my mum's door who lives in Swanley we thought we would give this place a try.
The food was nothing more than Average. My Medium Chicken Curry was very oily and bland to taste. The Chicken Tikka Masala the chicken was hard and the sauce it came in had a layer of oil on top. The Nan Breads seemed like they had been warmed up earlier today and reheated and were hard around the edges. Also, not being a lover of Peppers my Mushroom Rice had stacks in which i did not ask for.
I am being very fair giving this Indian Restaurant Average but my suggestion would be to drive possibly to Swanley or Dartford for a better meal.

Wow. What a little gem! Incredibly friendly staff, who were very attentive and did not rush our order.
The food was delicious and although they don’t have an alcohol licence you can bring your own.
Will certainly come here again and was worth the 30 minute drive to the restaurant.

Having visited here a few times now and sitting at home in lockdown, thought I’d give another mention to the lovely food and service that I always receive when eating at this establishment. My final visit pre Covid-19 saw me enjoy a great evening meal with 4 other friends. The food was served prompt given how full the place was, hot, well cooked and very tasty. It was a nice touch from the Manager to offer a free coffee or alcoholic drink of our choice after the meal too! I have always found staff and Management to be attentive, accommodating, polite and prompt. Looking forward to returning again when able to and would recommend you do the same.

Great food and good service, however it wasn't until we went to order drinks that I was told they no longer serve alcohol due to religious reasons. Apparently you can bring your own beer etc and they don't charge corkage etc.
If this is so, why then does their website say their bar serves wines and beers including Indian beers Kingfisher, Cobra etc.
Be consistent. Although the food was excellent I won't be coming here again as I'm not bringing beer out to a restaurant.. this is a shame as I've been going there for nearly 30 years.

I called the restaurant and said my delivery was cold and they said that I had complained before. To be fair I did because they missed out some of my order which I paid for. They have obviously flagged me up from my address because I complained. I haven't actually ordered from them for a long time and I did today and it was terrible. It was cold and just dumped in the porch but when I called them and said it was cold I got a load of abuse and I have complained in the past. Well yes obviously I did beacause there was food missing from the order.

What a pleasant surprise this little Indian restaurant was first time here
And we had a lovely meal . Probably one of the best Indian actually.
Definitely recommend it . Be aware they don’t sell alcohol. So you will need

10 out of 10 for everything. What a gem of a find the place is, the food is fabulous and the delivery service to west kingsdown is very prompt. They are very friendly and helpfully and happy to help.

I have eaten at this restaurant on a few occasions and the food has always been excellent, the staff are always friendly and attentive, although this restaurant does not serve alcohol you take your own alcohol and there is no corkage fee either, well worth a visit 10 / 10+++++
