I have eaten at this restaurant on a few occasions and the food has always been excellent, the staff are always friendly and attentive, although this restaurant does not serve alcohol you take your own alcohol and there is no corkage fee either, well worth...a visit 10 / 10+++++More

Came here for dinner for the first time in a few years and was very disappointed to see its gone quite downhill. The food was just as good as it used to be so don’t be dissuaded if you’re getting a takeaway. But the service...and ambience in the restaurant was awful. We were sat in the corner of the restaurant and felt like we were in a store room as the table next to ours had piles of napkins and stock piled on it. The staff which took our order weren’t friendly and literally threw our order on the table without any care. To make it worse, the staff at the bar were taking telephone orders on speakerphone for the whole room to hear and speaking loudly with drunken customers. Safe to say we won’t be returning. What a shame to see a nice restaurant go downhill!More

Wow. What a little gem! Incredibly friendly staff, who were very attentive and did not rush our order. The food was delicious and although they don’t have an alcohol licence you can bring your own. Will certainly come here again and was worth the 30...minute drive to the restaurant.More

Ordered a chicken vindaloo and a naga lamb, now the lamb dish had good heat but the vindaloo was the mildest curry I've ever had, I don't understand why some curry houses seem scared to prepare a hot vindaloo, fortunately not too many are like...that.More

We returned here for the first time since the pandemic. So pleased that I remained in business, as the food remains of a good standard. This restaurant no longer has a licence to serve alcohol, which we bit aware of on attending but they do...allow patrons to being their own. I think taking your own drinks is positive and it would not put me off returning at all... At least I know I will be able to enjoy my favourite drink and as long as its reasonable would not object to paying a corkage either.... possibly the way forward for some restaurants given the current climate. Great food and good service, however it wasn't until we went to order drinks that I was told they no longer serve alcohol due to religious reasons. Apparently you can bring your own beer etc and they don't charge corkage etc. If this is so,...why then does their website say their bar serves wines and beers including Indian beers Kingfisher, Cobra etc. Be consistent. Although the food was excellent I won't be coming here again as I'm not bringing beer out to a restaurant.. this is a shame as I've been going there for nearly 30 years.More

At the time of booking I was told no alcohol could be served and could bring your own. Which was good ( imagine an indian without a cold beer ) Food was excellent along with the service, would recommend booking as quite a small place...and was busy on a Saturday when we where there.More

Absolutely delicious food. Everything we had was very tasty. Made to feel very welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would highly recommend.

Having visited here a few times now and sitting at home in lockdown, thought I’d give another mention to the lovely food and service that I always receive when eating at this establishment. My final visit pre Covid-19 saw me enjoy a great evening meal...with 4 other friends. The food was served prompt given how full the place was, hot, well cooked and very tasty. It was a nice touch from the Manager to offer a free coffee or alcoholic drink of our choice after the meal too! I have always found staff and Management to be attentive, accommodating, polite and prompt. Looking forward to returning again when able to and would recommend you do the same.More

I called the restaurant and said my delivery was cold and they said that I had complained before. To be fair I did because they missed out some of my order which I paid for. They have obviously flagged me up from my address because...I complained. I haven't actually ordered from them for a long time and I did today and it was terrible. It was cold and just dumped in the porch but when I called them and said it was cold I got a load of abuse and I have complained in the past. Well yes obviously I did beacause there was food missing from the order.More
