Lovely restaurant with a beautiful rooftop. Great food and service. My husband had the surf and turf platter which he loved and I had the pasta, with bread & olives to start. All great. Catered for vegans - I had the pasta without cheese but some of the tapas dishes could be vegan too. Service was faultless

We stumbled upon this beautiful spot by accident, trying to find another Tapas restaurant. The service and the food were both absolutely fantastic - one of our waitresses took the time to give us local adventure recommendations as it was our first visit to Albufeira. The tapas themselves were gorgeous - my wife and I loved every single dish. Would wholeheartedly recommend!!

We were greeted by the friendly staff including the chef and commis chef and shown to our table on the heated terrace. Magnificent view of the crescent moon and stars added to the romantic ambience.
Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive.
The food was just sublime.
I can highly recommend the prawn skewers and the tuna tartare.
Although everything we ordered was delicious.
Excellent use of spice and herbs make this a must go to dining spot for a thoroughly modern take on traditional Portuguese cuisine with excellent service.

Upon arrival we ordered our food and a jug of sangria - with a view across Albufeira, we had no complaints. However, when our food arrived, one meal was incorrect. We can only assume that this is due to a language barrier with the waitress. Of course this is very unfortunate and the waitress is not to blame, although when serving a customer who speaks a different language, the staff should be more attentive and make certain that they understand correctly.
Despite being reassured that the correct meal would be brought out in a matter of minutes, it took almost half an hour for it to arrive. This meant that one of the party had already finished, and the others food had gone cold whilst trying to eat slowly. The third, whose food was initially incorrect, ended up eating after everybody else had finished; and to make matters worse, despite her food tasting good, the portion size was abysmal (especially for almost 18 euros!).
This was our final night on holiday and sadly the entire experience was quite dreadful - it is hard to enjoy a meal and a dining experience when one of three is left without food. The staff were defensive and reluctant to offer any real redemption for the evening, eventually we received just the sangria for free.
Overall: poor service, small portion sizes and a very unfortunate experience.

Thank you for your review and your positive feedback about the quality of our homemade food, carefully prepared with only fresh ingredients. We are very sorry that you didn’t have an enjoyable experience regarding the service. We have had some staffing difficulties in the service during the first few days, as we just reopened for the season. We do hope you’ll try us again during a next visit to Portugal.

We went out not sure what we wanted to eat for tea but this was beautiful, something different. Great menu and everything was so fresh. The setting, staff and food was all worth the price, a little more expensive than other restaurants in Albuferia but not overpriced for the quality of food and service we received. Will definitely return. Loved it

AMAZING!!!! we stumbled across this absolute gem of a place and it was the best meal we have ever had! A lot of the restaurants in the Old Town we've found to be quite similar and this was absolutely not the case at Olympique. If you like seafood or would like your tapas food to be a little different then you will love this place. The menu was well thought out and innovative. We ordered 6 tapas between two, The vodka cured tuna, WOW .... Sardines on toast, delicious, black pig terrine, superb, cod fish cakes, chicken wings and prawns outstanding!!! The service was also perfectly attentive, everyone was so friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. If you eat anywhere in the Old Town we highly recommend trying Olympique, you will not be disappointed!!

This restaurant is absolutely outstanding. It stands apart from the regular run of the mill restaurants in the surrounding area and is really great value for money. The service was great - really friendly and helpful waiters and the food was absolutely amazing. The tuna tartare with burrata is a fabulous taste experience - I hope I can recreate at home! The best dining experience for us on the whole trip. Thanks so much!

Food and drinks where very good, staff very friendly unfortunately the service was very slow we waited 45 mins between our starter and mains, I appreciate they had a large group however we had order well before this group arrived.
We had the tapas dishes to start with, fish cake, prawns and chicken wings and for mains The seafood risotto which had amazing flavours and the ribs and chips.
We would try here again.

We had 3 meals in Albufeira, and the best by far was at the Olympique.
Great place to have dinner on the rooftop, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they recommended the fig pudding which was a great choice to share with a coffee.
Every tapas was very tasty!

So good we went twice during our stay. Well prepared tapas in chic surroundings. This resturant has a relaxed ambience and we enjoyed all the tapas paired with great Portuguese wines. The staff could not have been more polite and helpful. Definitely going again on our next visit.

A hidden gem in the heart of Albufeira Old Town, where you can escape the noise and tackiness that encapsulates the general 'Brits-abroad' vibe (and we say that as Brits abroad!).
We spied it down a smaller lane off of the main square, and made a note to visit it when it was open for dinner. So glad we did, the food was lovely and provided new and exciting tastes. The atmosphere was great (even though we were close to the only people there). The service was impeccable and we enjoyed views of people roaming beneath us, while we sat tucked away, next to an orange bush watching the sunset.

This was a lovely place to eat with a brilliant menu. All four of us were amazed by our meals with every dish offering so much flavour on top of a beautiful rooftop setting. We only wish we had been more prepared to come here as we were kindly welcomed to this sophisticated restaurant feeling a little underdressed upon finding this place by chance.

We came here with a party of 12 including a toddler and the meal was fantastic! They provided a little box of toys for our toddler to keep him amused. The kids menu was really nice as well with the option of sea bass which they loved! We had a mixture of tapas and main courses and the choice was fantastic. There were many vegetarian tapas options which were really fantastic! We also had excellent desserts. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. This was such a special meal would recommend to all families looking for a really fantastic meal!

With the restaurant doing a tapas menu as well as a normal one this was ideal for my wife.
She was able to pick various vegetarian dishes to make her main course.
The staff were polite and very friendly. I have to commend them on how they dealt with a child behind me who banged their head, it was really caring.
We enjoyed all three courses but the only reason I dropped a star was the wine prices. It was the most expensive wine we had on holiday and did think the Portuguese wine could be cheaper.

I ordered the steak which was full of fat - very little meat to be had. Pointed out the fact it was majority fat on the steak and the server just told us that was what the type of cut of steak was. It was smothered in a sauce which I suspect was to hide this fact. It was with a measly portion of salad and a small portion of frozen potato wedges. Cost almost €30 for all of this! I left hungry and had to go get more food elsewhere. I note the most recent review of this restaurant had much the same experience as me. Would not recommend.

Our steak is cut from high-quality Argentine entrecôte, known for its rich flavor and texture. The presence of fat is a characteristic of this particular cut, which contributes to its tenderness and taste. We apologize if this was not to your preference and if the sauce was not to your liking.
