My last day in Albufeira I wanted to eat some grilled fish and so I walked in here. Since I'm portuguese and used to eat fish on a daily basis I wasn't too thrilled on having the owner make some terrible jokes and trying his best to be "funny and warm". I get it is his job to be charming... More

Food was good , alway going back about 5 years ago it was 1 of the very best. Only grumble was they put bread on the table... More

Nice place, clean and let us have breakfast later than they planned. Beans where little which was a shock. Staff quite rude and not greatly friendly and got the food orders mixed up. Lovely British sausages though and decent size portions.

Being portuguese myself, I usually go to Albufeira to pretend I've travelled to a foreign country. We try chinese, mexican, indian....gosh, we even have english breakfast with beans and all. Actually, very few times are we made to feel welcome once we speak portuguese. This is one of the only authenic Portuguese restaurants we can find in Albufeira. Fresh fish... More

Found this little restaurant up a side street and decided that as the menu was mainly Portuguese and the cook was Portugeuse that the food must be good. And it was. Fairly plain choices we made but they were both well seasoned and well cooked. I had the pork steak with new potatoes and husband had the mixed meat kebab.... More

Went there for a lunch. I had sardines with potatoes which was ok but my son had shrimp salad with shrimps not cleaned properly. My other son and my hubby had chicken kebabs which were ok. I will not be coming back.

My wife and I ate here on our 1st night in Albuferia, we know Jimmy the tout and have eaten here before so we went in. We were 'greeted' by the owner who appeared to be in a not to happy mood, god only knows why because the restaurant was not busy! Anyway, we asked for a table for 2... More
