Wonderful restaurant that offers you a lot of typical portuguese dishes at a great price! It's meant to take many different dishes and share them, so you can try a lot! I definitely recommend this!

Great choice of vegetarian, fish and meat with plenty of vegetables. The restaurant is typical portugese tapas with good local wine list. The service is friendly and the whole atmosphere feels very relaxed. Loved it so much, we’ve booked again for our last night!!

Super evening meal. We shared 5 tapas dishes between the two of us, every one delicious. They do a daily menu with specials. We also had a lovely bottle of house red. Total bill….. €40!! Can’t be beaten.

This was superb food, served by excellent staff and in a great setting. If you need a place that cooks great Portuguese food, then this is the spot, about a 5 minute walk from the marina down a peaceful side street off the beaten track....The guys who run this place are hugely welcoming, knowledge and all the cooking is right before your eyes. If you get to the dessert stage after the generous tapas style plates, then try the carob and lemon, it was extremely moorish and great textures. We had the vegetarian dishes (my partner is vegetarian) and please don't overlook them, each was perfect. We were lucky to have the last table but you really need to book ahead, we were just lucky as they were others after us hoping to dine there but it was fully booked.More

Absolutely fantastic cuisine and ambiance. Just a 10 min walk from the harbor we found this hidden gem in a quiet street. The service was excellent, the style and foods well explained and the taste an absolute sensation. We had some salad, the cockles, the...spicy fish and octopus as well as the duck in red wine.More

My partner and I were walking around in Faro, and we were a bit turned off from all of these very generic, touristic over-priced restaurants in the entrance of the old town and we were looking for something authentic, which is exactly what A Venda...is. We went 4 nights in a row so we could try as much as the dishes and drinks as possible, and we didn’t regret a single night. An incredibly professional team who are very relaxed. You are their guest and this also means to treat them like humans, communicating directly if you need salt or have an allergy or don’t like coriander. I would come back to Faro just to have another night at A Venda.More
