About
The São Pedro Grocery store is a place where you can feel like a "home", where you can taste our "Tapas" between the mountains and the sea. The idea is that of the typical Portuguese grocery store where you could look for fresh produce and you could "kill the beast", eat the snack with the "glass of three" of good wine. Add the taste, freshness and quality of yesteryear in good company.

We had the menu of the day and shared the squid linguine and the polvo. Both dishes were freshly prepared and spectacular. Service was courteous and efficient. Portions were large and extremely reasonably priced. One of the best meals we’ve had in Portugal. As close...to home cooking as you can get. Would return in a heartbeat. Meal included beverage, soup, and coffee all for 26 Euros for 2. Don’t miss this gem where locals go for amazing meals.More

Simply excelent food and a very nice atmosphere! The service is cordial, and the food is fresh and very, very tasty. This is a simple but real home cooking. Fantastic tapas on fresh homemade bread, brilliant combinations (such as orange and sardine), very good quality...product. For us, simply sensational cuisine and nice service. Congratulations for simplicity and great quality. I highly recommend to others, and we ourselves will be happy to come again.More

The best food in Faro! The owners are very friendly, making us feeling like at home. I ordered sardine bruschettas and muscles. I had to order both again- the tapas portions are great, I just loved it so much!!!! If you are in Faro, make...yourself a favour and visit this place. ❤️❤️❤️More

One of the best places we ate in Faro. We opted for various tapas dishes; the lobster and the sardine bruschetta were particularly delicious. Really good price too.

Unpretentious little gem in the heart of Faro, with few things on the menu but all excellent. In particular the prawns, the sardines and orange bruschette and the mixed platter

Quaint and unassuming place for tapas and wine. The elderly gentleman owner is friendly and attentive. Both the food and service were legitimately better than some of the fancier places in town. I had a really good and filling dinner here, one of my better...meals in Faro! Generous servings for both the food and the wine! GREAT for solo travellers like myself. Obrigada!!! :)More

A great recommendation from someone who had visited a year ago. A lovely quaint restaurant that did not disappoint. Visited for lunch and had sardine and orange brushetta (a must have), calamari, tomato salad and the cheese board. Highly recommended if you are in Faro.

This is a rather mixture between tapas portions and normal size, it is somwhere in the middle. They are to small to fill you up, you probably need at least 3 dishes. On the other hand food is cooked with passion and is very tasty....Locacion is probably not a best but I highly recommend this place!More

We trusted the reviews and weren’t disappointed - stopped in after arriving in Faro for a late lunch (sopa, chorizo, salada mista and pork in a peppercorn sauce) with drinks was very good value. Service was warm and friendly and we appreciated the assistance, learned...a few new Portuguese words. Only in for the day but will look forward to a return visit.More

Absolutely wonderful food and service. We had the prepared lobster, home shrimp and sardine & orange bruschetta. All delicious, excellent value and warm service. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. If you are English, don’t let the crude dish names put you off! I will...be returning.More
