We ate here last night and were really impressed. The setting is unique, being above an authentic Portuguese shop selling all sorts of wonderful finds, including beautiful ceramics, fragrances, and jewellery. The staff in the restaurant upstairs were super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about wine....The menu was small but everything done really well, with generous portions and just generally great flavours. We didn't have room for dessert after a starter and a main each but other peoples looked delicious! Was really good value for the quality too. Need to book as there wasn't a free table by 8pm, but definitely worth a trip. We would return 100%. Thankyou for a lovely dinner!More

This hidden gem of a restaurant with a a beautiful and classy shop below, best chilled out restaurant we’ve ever been to in our 9 years of coming to Lagos

You feel like you may be in the wrong place when you wander into a shop to access a restaurant, but persevere and it’s worth it! We were hoping to be seated on the roof terrace but sadly it was closed when we visited but...regardless, our meal was delicious! As other diners have mentioned, the menu may feel limited but every dish is delicious and it really doesn’t matter. The wine list is decent, with options by the glass and bottle from different regions. We had two starters, three glasses of wine, two mains and one dessert and were amazed at how affordable it was, especially given the quality. Staff were all amazing - friendly, helpful and so kind. Would recommend highly!More

We had a fabulous experience at this modern Portuguese restaurant. The selection of dishes and ingredients are exclusively from Portugal and the wider Algarve region. Small and cozy restaurant located a floor above an upscale gift shop. Upon sitting down, we were doubtful at first as the menu appeared somewhat limited (2 vegetarian, 2 seafood, and 2 meat entrees available) but trusting reviews this place was a WOW. Our group...ordered the chicken and pork cheeks (slow braised in an incredible red wine sauce) and ate every single bite. Service was kind and courteous as well. They do accept credit card. Definitely recommend for an upscale dinner experience!More
