Warm small place on a busy restaurant way. Nice paella with crunchy rice. We ordered a side of chorizo that was on fire. Let it burn and get crispy. Great regional wine list too.

Never come back. Miserable stuff. Unmannerly and indecent. It was first time for me to see something like that.

We went to this restaurant as it looked nice. Fancied some roast chicken. The staff were miserable. The chicken came, it was their special. It was a small leg of chicken, the centre was raw when we said it they took our plates and microwaved it. It came back dry and shriveled.

What a great place, we have been here many times over the years and it never disappoints. Warm welcome with sparkling wine, great food and service, port and almond liqueur to finish. The men's favourite is steak on a hot stone (pictured) but mine is the local dish cataplana (fish stew). If you want to go do book as they... More

The lobster cocktail is amazing, worth paying the extra euro from the normal prawn cocktail. Their steak on the stone is brilliant as you can cook your meat to your own taste. The owner remembered my husband from previous trips. He also remembered that he doesn't drink Sagres beer so went and got him Crystal from somewhere else! Now that... More

Someone else said 'consistently great'. I agree. We visit every time we come to Lagos (which is frequently) and have never had a bad meal. It is a family run restaurant with a lovely traditional feel. Service is always excellent and you are treated like your visit means something. I would say try Fridays if you want tradition- it is... Visited this restaurant this evening. My girlfriend selected a medium-rare steak which was overdone and came with an overpowering vinegar and salt dressing, described vaguely as "Portuguese-style". I selected a seafood paella which was basically rice with a couple of prawns and mussels thrown in. We waited nearly an hour to be served (the couple behind us waited longer) and... More

We were in Lagos for 5 nights and loved this restaurant so much that we went for dinner twice! And I hate repeating meals when travelling- but this was just too good to not return! We ordered the paella and avocado salad and it was delicious and well worth the money. The service was very good. Food was tasty, fresh,... More
