Nice local bar. Great place to sit and relax. Lovely friendly staff and really reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

The place is nice with outdoor seating BUT the food is very weak. We decide to pick some meat proposals. I don’t recommend it at all. Nice staff.

Evening all, I am writing to advise you to avoid this place at all costs. After ordering my food and finding a maggot in my chicken, I approached the owner to be told that it was a special chicken. The biggest shock however was when...I left to finish my pint in the beer garden. I was approached by a local prostitute. He was wearing a benfica football shirt. It's was totally horrifying. After I told him I was not interested, he proceeded to sit on my knee and call me sweetheart. Not what you expect on a Monday afternoon. Avoid at all cost.More

I visited this place with a group of friends we waited to be served for 20 mins as locals was walking in and just getting served before us. It was as if we wasnt there. Whilst waiting to be served we saw mice in the...kitchen we immediately left the premises and wont be returning hopefully you all do the same.More

Difficult to judge in this season, very few customers in the restaurant where everything is done for you to be nice. Many dishes sounding Italian without being. It's different and stays relatively good.

I had dinner here on 2 occasions and enjoyed both meals here. My friend had pizza, very reasonable (€7.50) and deemed delicious. I had beautifully cooked lamp chops and enjoyed them. Our Welsh hostess was very friendly as were the other members of staff. While...there were few people in the restaurant itself, there were people eating outside on the benches & tables provided there as well as people in the bar area. I would eat here again, menu a little limited but we found the food very good and excellent value.More

Close to our apartment and so called on our first evening for a quick drink and snack before crashing. Friendly welcome by nice Welsh lady who served us good gin and tonics :-) Ordered soups to start and a shared pizza which were nice and...did the job, further drinks and then off to bed. Used this place on numerous occasions during our stay for pre or post drinks and always a warm friendly welcome. Busy whilst we were their and food looked good, people clearing their plates. We came for a drink after a family night out a nearby Indian, my elderly mother had a smoke of her E Cigarate in the bar and was attacked by the psychopathic little German man that owns the bar. My elderly father politely approached him...and told him that he should have used manners and asked politely to smoke outside but was told to f**ck off. I have never in my life posted a negative review but please avoid this place at all costs, the owner is a violent scumbag who seems too only pick on the elderly😡More

Been to this bar twice now. They do lovely pizzas at reasonable prices. The drinks are cheap and there is football on in the bar if you like that sort of thing.

When we ordered at o pinguim, my soda had 3 little dead bugs inside as well as another one on the lemon wedge. The food took an hour to arrive, and I found aluminium and plastic wrap in my soup. Closest place to eat to the vilablanca apartments yet the restaurant was completely empty. Probably something we should have taken notice of when arriving. Left at 9:30 and no one else arrived while we were there. Lasagne looked rather like something that had been microwaved...for a second time and had the texture of a jar baby food. The accompanying salad was a near equal mix of iceberg lettuce and chopped onion. The burger and chips was literally a frozen burger with no bun or condiments. To be fair, the pizza was ok. Nothing special but nothing to really complain about. Rather puzzled how the business survives. Certainly not somewhere you’d return for a second visit yet with apartments so close by, this could be packed out if it offered reasonable food.More
