4 of us stopped for supper. The food was average, but the waitres was rude and not the least bit helpful or friendly. Not my idea of a restaurant I'd recommend.

A pitty it was empty. Made us sade. Fish was fresh. Prawns were too small as well as clams. But we saw some effort to be kind. Sangria was reasonable. Good parking!

Take the time and trouble to seek this one out !!!! Go past the general market, past the fish market and across the car park as if going to the harbour. Tucked away in a corner is this little oasis !! No pretence, no frills, just good wholesome Portuguese cuisine served in a friendly atmosphere where nothing is to much... More

The Sangria is a typical restaurant where it is possible to eat fresh fish at a good price. It is located near the market of Quarteira, near the sea. I usually eat a fish, for example sardine, and drink an excellent sangria. To finish I eat dessert, named "combinado", which is a combined of 3 types of sweet flavors of... More

The service was awful and the food was very ordinary with little taste. Expensive and not good value

This is a small non touristy family restaurant hidden round the corner near the fish market in Quarteira. Mainly locals... We ate lunch here twice as it was great value and lovely basic quality fresh fish. The cataplana was very tasty - lots of large prawns and a couple of fish cut into pieces - in fresh tomato with onion... More

With marufo up the road a 100 times better. I would not be so negative last week when prices where 35% cheeper, with a whopping hike in price it's not worth a visit. Service was appalling and with the two owners present it was an insult. Three times had to get up to hurry things along. 50 minutes to get... More

this small restaurant is close to the fish market in Vilamoura. Look for it around the corner across the parking lot. plastic tables and lots of local people. highly recommended for a nice lunch or even dinner. The Sangria is good but the best is the fish they prepare. love the place, budget friendly and high quality
