What a wonderful experience from the delicious food, attentive service (our waiter was Juao) and beautiful views. We heard about this restaurant from friends and it did not disappoint.

We have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now. We absolutely love it. On our most recent visit we took our 2 month old toddler and our new born. They are always so hospitable and fantastic at entertaining the children. Although no...dedicated children’s menu, they always sort something very good out for the children. We will continue to come here and enjoy the food and wine.More

The restaurant sits looking over the hills to the sea which makes it very popular. It attracts and caters for I presume mainly for tourists and has a very slick operation. You are offered cheese and ham on plates straight away rather than the traditional...cover which is rather pushy. The spare ribs were good but the Piri Piri chicken was poor with some scrawny pieces and the blandest sauce ever tasted. Wines by the glass were good as was the fig and carob dessert. Much prefer the nearby Jardim d’Oliveras which is more genuine but was closed on this Wednesday.More

Wonderful view, helpful staff. The wild boar with chestnuts was rich and flavorful. Generous portions. A real treat.

We found this restaurant through tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. We booked a table on the terrace to admire the superb view.The food and the service was outstanding and I can honestly say one of the best restaurants we have tried in the Algarve...at a reasonable price even though we live in Vilamoura we will 💯 return well worth the travelling to enjoy this restaurant again A+++++More

We loved this place so much we went twice! The views from the terrace are breath-taking. Staff are lovely and extremely helpful, from the "grill-master" up front to all the waiters. Blankets are available for those chilly evenings. We had the Black Pork Secrets (twice!),...the veal kebabs and the picanha of lamb. All were good but the pork's outstanding! The oreo-and-lime cheesecake is delicious, too. Highly recommended.More

Amazing place to eat. Friendly staff and food is amazingly good plus the portions are very generous. If you can get a table outside I would recommend for the view!

We visited with our two children (11 and 7), one of whom has coeliac and the staff were fab. The setting is breathtaking and the food was by far the best we had this holiday. I can definitely recommend it, you have to visit if...you are around the Monchique area.More

Excellent food and service. The restaurant run two sittings and so to speed things up encourage diners to start with freshly carved ham, local cheese, bread and olives. There is an extensive range of mains which are interesting, well seasoned and generous portions. Our table...had the black pork with bread mash, lamb chops and chicken kebabs which were all cooked on the grill. The pork came with a watercress and orange salad which was very refreshing. Puddings were good and again generous. There were some wines being decanted but the house carafe was good value. With the view, would very much recommend.More

We have eaten here 3 times during August and every meal has been excellent. First time as a couple and then in a group of 5 on the other visits. My favourite starter is the sardines on toast and the chicken skewer for main is...really tender. Staff are professional, efficient and friendly. We managed to get a table outside on each occasion, but had booked a few weeks in advance. Booking process very straightforward by email, and restaurant quick to reply. They make a really good expresso martini too. Would highly recommend.More

A totally outstanding experience. We enjoyed a stunning tomato salad …. What could be special about that? Tomatoes that actually tasted like fruit as opposed to the red round things that you find in supermarkets that could be cardboard, and beautifully dressed. To follow, the...wild boar casserole which was out of this world. Finishing with a chocolate mousse that was pleasant if not epic. Unfortunately, in August, they do two sittings…. 7-9 or 9-11. The result is that we felt quite significantly rushed (admittedly we were 15 minutes late). I cannot criticize this policy since one has to realize that most of their revenue comes during this period and needs to support their business through the off-season. Hence we will make the effort to return later in the year….it’s a significant trip for us, but we’ll worth the effort.More
