Excellent but Expensive

This is a terrific restaurant with excellent food and service. By Portuguese standards, it is quite expensive, but by US standards a good deal. Worth the splurge and very close to the Pousada.

Excellent food

We had the seafood shishkebab with lightly cooked monkfish, scallops and shrimp, great but somewhat expensive, and the tournedos Marsala, perfectly pink inside. Service attentive and pleasant, somewhat old fashioned environment.

Low value for money

Quality average, prices too high especially fish dishes and expensive for Algarve compared to other restaurants. Found a hair in the dish, but was disputed by the staff! Not recommended.More

Weekend visit

This is a real treat. Proper home cooked food in the owner's home. An experience not to be missed. Not an extensive menu BUT sufficient for the connoisseur or layman alike and all freshly prepared for YOU.

Best Restaurant in Town

Rice with Portuguese Rice sounds simple or boring. I don't know if it is simple to make but I do know it's not boring. It is absolutely delicious ! So is the Monkfish as is the Rabbit. Not a bad item on the menu.
