11th November '17. Somewhat tired after a walk around Sagres fortress we remembered, from back in 2003, the best coffee in Portugal. That venue was closed for the winter so we wandered over the road to A Sagres and thought the fish menu looked attractive...More

Although we initially thought that its probably one average tourist targeted restaurant, we still decided to try. Actually they had the best sea bass during our 7 day trip in Portugal! It was grilled fish with a little garlic and olive oil. Sea bass was...More

What a Great find! I had the Sea Bass and must say it was grilled to perfection and tasted delicious! You may pass by this restaurant if you aren't looking for it, as it's nothing fancy on the outside, but don't let that fool you!...More

There is a restaurant part and a cafe part. We choose to have lunch at the bar side as they had a menu which we felt like. You cannot order cafe food and eat it at the table in the restaurant, you will have to...More

Traditional Portuguese restaurant with superb views over harbour & coast (in day light). Good internal & external seating. Meat & fish menu; with fresh shellfish a specialty. Shellfish expensive, but lots of other fish & meat items on the menu "more reasonably" priced. Good ambiance,...More

The good things about this restaurant were the wine and the service. They were friendly and attentive. The food was little more than diner food, and not good diner food. The bread was stale, and our entire meal was very bland. I would not recommend...More

We expected more from a town with a reputation for fish. The bread was stale. The fish soup had lots of noodles and almost no fish. The stuffed squid was bland like everything else. The wine and service were good.

They have two sections one is an evening restaurant and the other is more of a snack/lunch bar. Both are excellent.
