This is a bar. And that's that. I was in Horta for a day and it's one of the spots I simply had to go to because of the history and nostalgia surrounding it. It was easy to find, I had a drink, gin and tonic, of course (when in Rome...), took some photos and moved on. Another 'landmark' checked... More

First of all let me say that I´ve been two time in the same week to Peter´s and had two different experiences. First of all a late night dinner , and everything was perfect . Food quality, service , ambiance. Second time they had a lot of people there. And reservation was chaotic they said "30 min and you will... More

Went to Peter's almost every night we were in Horta. Ate one of the nights and got a half BBQ chicken dinner with salad and fries for about €9. The gin and tonics are delicious at about €3 each and on Fridays they have live music. This is definitely the bar to visit in Horta.

I've been hearing about Peters for years from other sailors who have stopped in Horta on their trans Atlantic voyages, so I had to come and check it out. It is a pub with a lot of yachting burgees on the walls and ceiling, a nice vibe to the place. Even if you don't sail, and will never cross the... More

Wonderful menu, tons of memorabilia from local and visiting sailors, great beer! This is a best spot for lunch.

I really liked this place we had drinks with friends. The service was really good and I ordered a cheese pancake which was delicious! Also the pinacolada was delicious!

Called in a couple of times whilst on the Island. I liked it as it was more like an English pub with some atmosphere. Has a lot of history attached to it and there is the World Famous museum upstairs. I only had drinks here but my wife had a snack.

We shared local cheese and olive plate while one had fish soup and the other "whale" soup. Both were very good. Nice place to visit and enjoy the interior decorations and guests from all over the world. Very good service too. A must place to visit when in Horta.

Delicious coffee and breakfast. Interesting decor -- you get a real sense of the sailing culture of the island.

We went there twice on our recent trip to Horta after finding it on TripAdvisor and seeing how close it was to our hotel. I had the daily special for dinner-tuna covered with clams while my sister chose the kebob-it was monstrous and she couldn't eat it all. The food was delicious and good prices. We dropped in for lunch... More
