Lunch for four at Restaurante São Pedro was actually very good. Three of us had delicious fish entrees and one had an excellent regional steak. Deserts were really wonderful. It was shocking, however, to be charged €14.50 for a bottle of Gazela vinho verde which...More

Visited here in October. Was pleased to see how busy they were, mainly with local people (always a good sign). The restaurant is smaller than we imagined, so definitely need to book a table. Our waiter William was absolutely charming and very knowledgeable about the...More

WOW!! Probably the best fillet steak I’ve ever eaten, superb quality and a massive chunk. From the outside you’d walk past and it’s not massive inside but get in there !!!! Great staff as well👍

This is a popular restaurant and you will probably need reservations. We "dropped by" one evening to be told that they were fully booked and made reservations for later in the week. Good, local authentic meals. Reasonable cost, nicely done. Enjoyed the Filet Mignon and...More

The blue lighting might seem a bit odd, but don't let that put you off -- this is a great little restaurant serving authentic Azorean food: 20 or so local Carnival celebrants packing the place can't be wrong. Atmosphere aside, we had some of the...More

Excellent calamari follows by bacalhao. Staff went extra distance to ensure I would enjoy appropriate and best wines for each although these usually only available by bottle. I will therefore recommend because of positive effort/attitude of waiters as well as competence of chef.

We have heard a lot about this restaurant and unfortunately we were there for lunch rather than dinner. However, our lunch was absolutely fresh, delicious and the presentation was perfect. The service was excellent.
