Recommended by two locals. We didn't have reservations but got there right when it opened so we were able to get seated. Great seafood selection, the portions are big and delicious, good wine, and friendly staff. Our second time we didn't have reservations, got there...before they opened and were seated if we promised to be done before 2 hrs. YES!! Grilled octopus, shrimp and squid skewers are great. Truly outstanding, unpretentious seafood restaurant. Highlights were the seafood kabob (skewer) which was one of the best bites on our Azores trip. The full grilled fish was also superb. The waiters were very kind here and actually alerted us when things might cost more than...expected -- a sign of good service in my estimation. Clientele is mostly locals which speaks to the quality here. Would definitely want to come back again. Reservations recommended.More

The fish is very fresh and good and our waitress was so nice and friendly. We were seated outside so the view on the small harbour was cute. The wine selection was good also with local choices. The only issue has been with the table...reserved for which we had to wait because it was given to another couple, after a small wait we have been seated.More

Unfriendly and mediocre food… all the reviews are good on TripAdvisor but I don’t know what people are talking about. The sister restaurant O Chico is much better and, if you want a great restaurant, go to Robertos

Seafood was so fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was terrific and the view at sunset so romantic.

The restaurant is considered to be the best sea food restaurant on the island, and the food didn’t disappoint. There is a lovely outdoor terrace are where you can sit and watch the sea.

Recommended to us for dinner, but no reservation available for us. We went anyway and they eventually found a table for us. Long story, but we had a great time. Food was great and the staff was excellent. Our host Roberto was very engaging with...a good sense of humor. Entire staff was outstanding. We made a reservation to come back for dinner a couple nights later to try the fish stew. Worth the trip, it was excellent also. Everything we tried was wonderful, even the house wine. Almost everybody recommends this place and it was good. We had to make a reservation and we saw during dinner other people waiting for a table to free. Meals were very good. We tried several things and they were great. Of course go there if...you want to eat seafood. Otherwise pick something else. Grilled fish was fresh and well done. For kid we had fish and chips and this was average at best, missing flavor and spices.More

An unassuming place with really great food. About a 10 minute drive from downtown Angra, in the small town of Sao Mateus, it offers a great selection of very fresh seafood (believe they have their own fishing boat). We ate there 2 of the 4...nights we were on Terceira because we liked it so much. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend.More
