This restaurant is one of the best restaurants on the island! Their limpets are well-prepared and smooth whereas some other locations on the island have sandy limpets, and are perfectly cooked with great seasoning - best limpets anywhere on the island. The hot stone steak...experience is also one I have already recommended to close friends and family, and will continue to do so as it is a unique experience and the steak is so fresh. The service here was wonderful; each person that came by our table was friendly, kind, attentive, professional, and conversational - and they also connected easily with all types of guests, which speaks to the great customer service here.More

I highlight the grotesque and boçal way in which this gentleman, named Xavier, received me in his restaurant. Without knowing me at all, he treated me as if I were a teenager (I'm 59 years old), and when I calmly warned him that this was...not the right way to treat a customer, he invited me to leave the restaurant , which, of course, I complied with immediately. I got the best impression from the people of Angra do Heroismo and Terceira Island, but this is not a good example. In every flock there is always a “snotty sheep”. I was informed later that he doesn't like Portuguese customers but Americans, because they always pay big tips. Therefore, ...!!!More

We went and of course had to get the steak. The owner brings it out, cooks the first piece for you, and feeds it to you. The steak was delicious and it was a cool experience.

Amazing! Best steak you'll find! Small restaurant that specialises in hot rock beef or tuna steak. Ther owner shows you what to do so just turn up and enjoy!!

Best steak we ever had hands down! It was very tender and just melted in our mouths! Only regret is we wished we found this restaurant sooner as we would had gone another time. It was our last night on Terceira but if by chance...we get the opportunity it visit that lovely island this restaurant will be the first place we will go to for dinner!
